Doughty08 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 I totally know where your coming from with the labor thing and ill def be doing the work myelf, im a mechanic for the army and have a shop on post with lifts and air tools so its no big deal to cut a few knuckles n get dirty. I just wanna make sure with these new parts im not gonna blow the dang thing up like adding a supercharger to a stock tranny. I want a Circle-D and those aint cheap so with me buying a new house when i get back i cant justify putting that much into the truck right now. Thanks for the help brother. kissfans03ss Posted May 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 I ran my Maggie on my truck for a few years with a stock trans and have about a dozen 1/4 mile runs on it.As long as you don't beat the trans it will hold up, I believe one member has over 100k miles on his as with a Maggie and stock trans.
