Will a CAI for a 2500 work for our trucks?

Recommended Posts

So I scored k&n cai off Craigslist and it was for a 2500 6.0. I put it together and everything fits fine. The only thing I see as being different is the position of the MAF sensor. It's about 90 deg. Off. I drove the truck it's seems fine. Just curious if the actual position of the MAF sensor is critical to how it functions?

I put around 5 miles on the truck since the install earlier and it seems fine. Truck pretty much feels the same. I thought a CAI was good for like 100hp. Lol but really it seams fine I just wanted to make sure.

Me too it was a used k&n setup off of Craigslist. Found it for only 50$. Filter and everything was In really good shape. Just cleaned the filter and oiled it and good to go. Got to love good deals on truck parts.
