Performance mode in "tow mode "

The only thing the "tow/haul" button controls is the trans tables. Shift points, line pressures, down shifts etc.

I have mine tuned how I want it for crusing, but it doesn't control any timing, fueling, or air in the tune.

Is the truck stock. Or is it tuned

its tuned, also had mods at the time of trans-go hd2 shift kit, vette servo, billet overdrive servo, asp underdrive pulley,no cats, exhaust dumped before rear axle

without my tow/haul active i ran between 15.1-14.9s

with tow/haul active i ran 14.8 down to my current PB of 14.68@92mph

so there is a proven difference for me

My truck stock 15.1@89

Corsa sport and k&n cai 14.8@90

ARH long tubes 14.6@93

Still not tuned

Damn thos are nice times for not being tuned yet

i have only ran my truck one time at the strip but it was as many passes as you can make from 8pm-1am (i had 17passes) so i tryed all different ways of launching, modes (tow/haul)

Had mine tuned that way. Only con I can think of is it is harder on your trannyif it is still stock. I dont use it very often, and dont hammer on it when i do, heard of too many people hurting their trans that way. My tuner pulled all the tm on it when it is in tow/haul, upped the line pressure and moved the shift points up a lot higher. I just think its funny cuz when i take off slow in tow haul mode it doesnt shift to second until like 23 mph.
