kdewitt
Does anyone know if stock chevy 16 or 17" wheels will work on an SS I'm looking for something for the winter
chawkins6789
AWD can fit a 16" 2WD can fit a 17" minimum. The deciding factor is the brakes. The 03-04 brake system requires a minimum of 16" wheels. The 05 AWD used the 03-04 brakes. 05 2WD used the 05-07 brakes which has a larger front rotor and drum rear. The minimum wheel soze to clear the front on a 2WD is a 17" because of this just like what came stock on the 05-07 non SS Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk Pro
canadianVRss
16" will not fit AWD either. I bought some a few months ago. They're the 88-98 Z71 5 spoke aluminums. They fit the front rotors (barely), but they don't fit the rears :-( play it safe and snag some 17s.

chawkins6789
Find some 17's. They are a dime a dozen on craigslist. I snagged a set of Aluminum 2005-06 17's with tires for $

chawkins6789
Also I think the 16" will fit, if you get some from the 99-
jonathan290
I'm running 16" rims with 265/75/16 tires. They are pretty close to the same rotation as the stock 20".
