O68 code after l92 head swap help

Recommended Posts

I hope they do free retuned. The L92 set up is finicky, but once it's dialed it it's great! And like mid12s said... Too much air on start up do to improper tune.

Get that tune dialed in and go rip it.

Lol! You of all people should talk!

LOL!! See! I'm learning!...

I had a very bad start up flare for the longest time. I never bothered to fix it. I had WAY too much air at start up, so when I turned the key, it spiked to about 2500rpms or so, and scared the shit out of everyone around me. Lol. Justin (Aksss) educated me on how to fix it.

I too am going with a L92 top end. I can't wait!

Will do this was the first time replacing heads but brother In-law was there for guidance. He let me learn the hard way. I could easily do this swap in about 2 1/2 to little over 3 hours So if any one runs into any problems I've most likely ran into it with this build. Took so long I didn't have time to swap the comp cam I bought.

subscribed :pop: .... im putting the L92 top end on my truck aswell keep us posted on how it goes
