Thatdavidkid
I had a 1.5-2 year old red top fail a while back, but the last owner got it as "used" from autozone meaning it sat on the shelf longer than it was supposed to (I think it's a year now) so that makes it 2.5-3 years old I think. In Texas it's normal to see only 3-5 years oht of a good quality battery though. My red top in my mustang, on te other hand, is about 7 years old now and still going strong. It did not have daily driver duties or a big stereo like my truck though. I went ahead and bought another optima but paid full price and got the 3 year free replacement. poopnewton
I love Sears Diehard Platinums! Exact same battery as the Odyssey for less money. Pull them up online and compare the 2. I have one in my truck.
chawkins6789
no just a bigger amp alternator and a single battery may do the job just not sure Gottcha. I know that CHawkins6789 has a pretty big alt in his truck. Might be worth asking him about hi set-up. I've been tempted to ask him myself but ain't yet. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/user/24042-chawkins6789/ He isnt ready to unleash the 300 amp beast yet Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
