SS&Sierra_84
Anybody running one of these? I have the Volant CAI w/ R.A. Does anybody out there have one of these Throttle Body Spacer's installed? Any Gains Worth The Money? Any Input would be nice. Thank You Guys (& Gal's if there are any)

BLOWN SS/T
Has anyone ever bother doing a dyno comparison on a TB spacer?
SS&Sierra_84
I haven't seen any videos of them doing a dyno with or without. Just brainstorming on shit to buy. I figure I got the financial means...why not splurge..but I don't want to splurge on crap that is useless lol
BLOWN SS/T
I'd consider that a useless mod, unless your a fan of the noise it makes. Port your TB, i think you'd have a better gain and faster throttle response from that.
SS&Sierra_84
Basically im going to lump this in the No Go pile of ideas! Thanks guys.

I think that you should get a good idea of a budget that you can afford to put in the truck, then decide exactly what you want to end up with as far as Horse power, and looks, and then get in touch with a good tuner associated with this site and get their input on what you should buy to reach your goals. Better idea than throwing parts at it without a plan.
jsanders347
I put a throttle body spacer on my old 5.9 dodge and it was the worst thing I did to it. All the torque just disappeared but it did kinda sound cool. I've wondered what it would do for the SS. Glad this thread came about. BLOWN SS/T
Most mods worth doing to these engines are gonna be a bit pricey. Just search and see what people have done to there trucks that have shown an improvement and do the ones that think will suit you.
jsanders347
Seems headers exhaust and a cold air intake are the basics and the cost to go fast skyrockets from there. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
