AugustBurnsRed19
Power band is probably anywhere from 1800 or 2000 up to 6800 or 7000. Idk on the stall size for sure, maybe 3200-3400. You will need a stall and some bigger injectors. Edited June 15, 2014 by AugustBurnsRed19 (see edit history)
Atomic
powerband probably 2400-7000, youll want a 3000 stall torque converter and valve springs rated to at least .650 lift
coal miner
I was thinking a 3600 on the stall. That's what the guy was running.
AugustBurnsRed19
3600 will definitely put a smile on your face.

GI.SS
A 3600 would be about right for that cam. I run a 3600 everyday no issues, you can tell it's there, but doesn't affect much. You get used to it.
AugustBurnsRed19
Dude its nothing like losing insane gas mileage it doesn't really act to crazy on drivibality Ive had a 3600 edge for 1 year I am going to sell it and buy a 4000 stall from circle d I hear the drivibality difference won't be noticeable but when you get on it you will notice the difference. JC03SS
My 3k is noticeable and you will lose gas mileage so be prepared. If your doing mods last thing on your mind is mpg. Personally if go little smaller cam n converter.
zippy
Gains on a stock motor will be decent. That is a pretty big cam for a stock LQ9 so I would only recommend it if racing is your main goal. If you're just looking for a bit more power I would look to a much smaller cam. You will want a 3600 or higher converter along with a nice set of dual springs. Powerband will be around 3500-7000. I found a set of 706 heads for $150 dollar rebuilt on another forum. Edited June 17, 2014 by coal miner (see edit history)
