kissfans03ss
On my way recently to help John 2tone06SS install his turbo I heard a loud pop from under the hood of my Duramax, luckily I was able to limp it the 20 or so miles home sputtering and spewing black smoke. I was finally able to pull the codes and look at the truck today thankfully to find that the lower intercooler hose came off due to no clamp on one side.I replaced the clamp and all is well again. shawnss
good deal. I have had the same problem with my SS once I was driving and got on it it let out a loud pop and started missing bad and had no power. same thing my intercooler piping had slipped off the boot. I was scared I hurt it. I stopped and started inspecting things found the it and was relieved.
