On every GM vehicle with the exception on Some Cadillacs you will see "leather seating surface" so part you sit in is leather rest is vynal. The SSS has true leather seats part you sit on. Back seat and all other parts are vynal. GM leather from the era of our truck is low quality which is why I'm not a huge fan. They have since upgraded to better hides but not much better.
