LS2 Swap Advice

Recommended Posts

Yeah you might have. I was assuming it was from a tbss. It's really easy to tell. Pop the crank sensor and look in. If it looks almost identical to a sprocket, then it's 58 tooth. If it has gaps between the squared off looking teeth, it's 24.

Yeah theres a highly likely chance its a 24X.

Other than that, what other complications do you think ill run into? You think I can still run the LS2 intake mani, or whould I need to swap over my truck intake?

If it is a 58, and you decide to run a leignfelter box look into how people are setting it up. I remember people were having issues with it reading and couldn't get the engine to start.

Some people were saying it was the heat from the engine bay that was causing issues to the box, so people were extending the wires and relocating it inside the glove box or anywhere inside the car. That seemed to have cleared some issues. leignfelter also has a revised version of that part I believe the part number ends in 2.
