danman
I'm in the process of debadging my 04 crew cab. Have taken off the lower door moldings. Driver side went good. I need help with taking off some of the residue on the tailgate and passanger side. Was using a heat gun and then tired goop off. but the stuff just wont budge. Is there any that will take off the adhesvie and leave the paint? Go BLUE
Xero
i used this adheasive/ tar remover, it was in a yellow spray can. it was foamy. just let the stuff sit for like 30 seconds or so and peel it off with your finger, if that dosent work, rub the tar remover onto the glue and the heat/tar remover will take it off. ive heard people say that you should used a putty knife with duct tape on it to remove it, but thats just gunna chip your paint. nick
