Was thinking of throwing in some forged rods and Pistons before its put in the truck since I'll be going turbo with about 800+ hp. Could I I just replace the Pistons and rods without rehoning? I know your suppose to but this motor has little to no time. You can still see the cross hatches. Mrrat1SS Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 that does not look like a fresh engine with just "dyno Time" .......pistons look cleaned up and the cylinder has what looks like a ridge, and no cross hatch left.
