Nika
New owner of a 2007 silverado ss and new member here. I am in the process of collecting parts to bring this truck back to it's original condition and am having a tough time finding the right side rocker cover. I have checked all the usual places...GM SAE parts ect and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, anyone else have this last model year? I would love to see some photos! Thanks guys. EXGM
Have you tried the dealer? Just curious why you have to restore... did something happen to it? 2007's are pretty rare....
Nika
I bought the truck with a salvaged title and 1 door cladding and both rocker pieces were missing when I bought it. The dealer list that 1 piece as discontinued.

Nika
Thanks Matt Guy says he can't ship that part (too fragile for ups) what? They are about 300 miles from me so maybe a road trip.
eberhama
Translation: I'm to lazy to find a long skinny box to ship it. I ran into that a lot when looking for SS stuff. Guys just can't be bothered to deal with anything out of the usual starter or alternator business.
Nika
I think I may send him an empty box
EXGM
I think I may send him an empty box I would worry that they don't pack it right and it gets destroyed. I had that happen I bought one of the last moulding for an old 80s GM car I had recently from vintage parts. They folded the moulding up and destroyed it. You may be better off driving to get it. I would also make them physically put their hands on and make sure it's ok. I drove 2 hours to get a part for my SS from a dealer. Got there and the box was empty. Man was I hot! Nika
Agreed...He just sent me a dozen photos and I will make the trip unless I get another option before I can get there. Thanks Matt
