I have the shifter with a better looking and FUNCTIONAL push down to unlock ball type knob. Making the plate and getting the shifter in position is not the issue. I havent looked yet to make sure the shifter will hook up properly to the silverado cable. Also i need to check/know what to look for when drilling a 1" hole through the tranny tunnel (yes i can and will look...just asking). I took all the electrics off the shifter and the tow haul will be wired into a button on the dash where the 4wd button would have been.
