I have been a maintenance tech for a apartment community for the past 7 years. I like the job and know how to repair and install all sorts of things. Before this job I was a tech for a HVAC company. I even went to school for HVACR. I love repairing things and making things and have loved it since I was a kid. I feel like the company I am currently working for has nothing else to offer me and I don't see myself retiring working for apartments. I am a very technical guy and take pride in my work and I can learn very quickly. So the question is what type of jobs do you think I could get myself into? I know I have training in HVACR, but I don't want to get back into that. I can go back to school if needed. Right now I am making roughly $36,000 a year and I want to make at least another $10,000 over that without being in a Supervisor position. Thank you, David

If I would keep my truck I would probably end up getting chrome SS wheels, Vho wheels, or Denali wheels. Unfortunately I am about to put if up for sale in a couple months.

I saw your post earlier and was waiting for you to figure it out on your own. lol By the way I don't think I ever posted pictures of my truck on this thread so here you guys go. A couple good pics. This was the first time I got my truck stuck. The hydraulic trailer brakes locked up on the boat trailer. My dad had to get in his Colorado and help pull me and the boat out. lol (His truck was on the street)

There are two different Vortecmax packages. One is called the Performance Edition that is only available with extended cab, 2wd, and 20" wheels. There also is a VortecMax Performance Pack that includes 2wd/4wd, extended/crew cab, 17" wheels. There are a few more differences also.

I know the performance package option only comes on extended cab trucks. They come with chrome factory 20's. I think there are a couple other things different such as shocks and sway bars and traction control. Your truck has the same 3.73 gear ratio and motor and tranny.

I heard that the newer silverado's and sierra's came with an easy close/open system. I wonder if some of the parts could interchange.

Dammit. Mine does this. I noticed the noise comes from the driverside. I just kept thinking it was something in the driverside suspension. Guess I will have to stroke mine now.
