  1. first set of pics looks like a huge UFO was entering our atmosphere.... errie...
  2. yep i waited in line for an hour, had great seats... put my feet up until some fat ass sat in front of me at the last minute... its ok, halfway through the movie the dudes kid spilled an entire soda on him... (i have secret powers shh) great movie, like chaser said, go pee before you see it... long movie. I cant believe that....
  3. sweet car for sure... just not feeling the stripes... the old classic version, the stripes fit that body style... these new stripes take away a little from the sleekness of the new body style and makes it look dated. Just a thought, instead of following the old style of stripes, why not improve them like dodge did with this updated version... the car was updated, maybe update the stripes? anyways, it's just my opinion i bet that took a lot of time and patience to get them on perfect...
  4. looks like you have some 4" spacers on those front wheels to fit those 6ps in there!!!! seriously, you gotta have at least some 1/2 spacers in there, yes? sorry to hear about your business woes... but that is the thing about life.. change... a wise man once said... "We are changing, we have got to change, and we can no more help it than leaves can help going yellow and coming loose in autumn..." - D. H. Lawrence I hope all is well with your health, you still have 2 cars, and bad ass ones at that... i know people who take the bus daily to 2 jobs and still smile...
  5. i had the opportunity last week at bobby ores tatical driving and stunt school to meet a couple of the stunt guys, including the guy who flipped the semi truck... and he told me a bunch of facts about the movie... 1. the longest car chase in the history of film making is in this movie - 12 minutes long 2. the semi truck flip was performed by a guy i met, Jimmy (older guy) who double all the driving scenes for heath ledger... well it was an ACTUAL semi tractor with trailor flip in downtown chicago, no back stage set, at night... they used two trucks, the first one was a test. He had only 60 feet of pavement from side to side to perform this gag... the truck was completely stock except some cables to keep the trailer attached to the cab... along with a 9 foot long, 6 foot wide Nitrogen cannon, that produces 200 tons of compression to flip the truck over... talk about forced induction! explosives were not used as propellant to flip the truck... nitrogen was the propellant. 3. The director was highly against using any type of CGI, period... if you see batman standing on top of the sears tower, it is actually batman standing on top of the sears tower... almost everything was shot on location. 4. There are more stunts in this movie than any movie ever made. i have some more fax, but i need to double check them... will post more later... I cant wait to see the movie... it is such a shame heath passed away.
  6. black chrome looks dirty to me... i have only seen a few sets in person but still... it doesnt look all that great, especially on steel wheels. The best wheels are forged wheels, period... stronger and lighter and a good will run you at least $850 - $1200 or more per wheel... depending upon the size... I like your current wheels, why are you changing them? nitto 420s run about 200 bucks each...
  7. OMG you would have to be narsasitic to have your full body shot on the side of your truck... people probably saw the truck and started yelling out the window... "Loser! You got your ass beat!!!" and then he went ballistic. I watched recent video of him and wow... he looked all drugged up... here is the link... http://www.tmz.com/tmz_main_video?titleid=1670053929
  8. damn bro... looks sick for sure, i love the stance and the wide ass tires in the back... sucks to hear about your tire man... i bet you were pissed... those wheels are insane too... i love the way the lightened them on the inside... sick. you havent driven your truck in a month?? Try 6 months... (except the day i had my truck tuned for the trans swap and then to the body shop) I have a pretty solid connection for tires, pm me the details and I can see what i can do... hit me up.
  9. new link... with picture... http://blacknews.com/blackcelebritygossip/...rested101.shtml

  11. cool plate... dont hold your breath they are at least 4-6 months behind if not more... CA sucks for specialized plates. something to the effect of the prisons being in lock down... i was told 5-6 months... last week it sure would be great to go fishing one day... hint hint... lol...
  12. see im not the ONLY sponsor whore on here... and yea, belltech is a full sponsor... drop, shocks, sway bars... :thumb:

  14. bahhhh.... i pm'd admin twice about it already... i dont have the powers to do that... grrr!
  15. thanks guys... i put this video togther... i included a longer run (2 turns)... they are listed in the video in reverse order, as you can see me come around after the first one and call it a day... but in this video you can get a better idea of the actual speed... also, this is a crappy digital camera with video on it, and my wife shot the video, need i say more?? lol.. (love you babe!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_KsFQ3xzyo
  16. LMAO... it is a full custom exhust... an airplane mechanic made it and installed it.... the track is at the end of a runway... lol
  17. yea... first attempt... and no smart ass, no roof mods lol....
  18. yea it is hard to do... it took the students in class most of the day doing it dozens of times to even come close... one student grenaded a trans and a half shaft in one of the tactical cars while doing it... get up to about 40 mph in reverse, which in itself is pretty gnarly, the grab the wheel and whip it around... half way through the spin (at 35 mph) you have to drop it into DRIVE, grab the wheel and recover and accelerate out of it... Ive been doing this type of driving for over ten years so im used to it... but if you dont practice it, you will lose it... BTW - has anyone seen the new Dark Knight preview on TV? (new batman movie)... well the LONGEST chase scene in movie history is in that film... 12 minutes long, which is ridiculous, anyways... at the end on the preview you see a huge tractor trailer do a flip up in the air... IT IS REAL AND NOT CGI... they did it in downtown chicago, I met the stunt driver that did the flip... they used a 9 foot long, 6 foot wide NITROGEN cannon with 200 TONS of compression to flip that beast over... other than having cables secure the rig to the trailer, the truck was unmodified (except for the cannon in the back)... he had to do the stunt in down town chicago and only had 60 feet of roadway to do it... so when you see the movie, just know it is REAL and NOT CGI BS... BTW his name is Jimmy and he is a helluva nice guy... i chatted with him all weekend during the course
  19. Here is just a short clip of me doing a reverse 180 with my marauder today at the track. My driving intructor Bobby Ore had a 3 day class the weekend and I went out and helped him instruct for a couple of days... first day i forgot to bring my camera, and then today it ran out of batteries, but i did get one good video... i have a few more of this same proceedure i will post later... anyways, here ya go...
  20. as Al pacino so eloquently said in Oceans 13... "Don't make a maniac out of me." thread closed... jeeeez people, yes there are political problems throughout the country... but last time i checked i would rather live here than anywhere else, if you dont feel the same way VOTE, run for office or move... simple
  21. this is one of our vendors guys, lets keep it on topic... thanks
