eitherway i think i'd be down for watever i guess...

Rob, Im just butt hurt you've never even stopped by my shop, ever...

    :cry::dunno::nopity:

Hell, even chase has been by a few times...

  2. Ive watched 45 out of the 54 games the lakers have played this year... I missed a few while I was in Japan, damn it. So yes, I am a big fan. King James is a phenominal player, regardless of liking the cavs or not... he is young, strong, and extremely talented. He is a physical player to say the least.

Kobe, is also a great player, my fav in the NBA... however he is not a spring chicken anymore, and this year has been tough on him injury wise - an evulsion fracture in his shooting hand, back problems, ankle sprain as of late, speaking of which he has been out for a few games as of late for his ankle; missing games is NOT something for #24.

As for the Cavs and the Lakers in the Finals?? The cavs need to get past a few teams - the Magic, the Celtics, and Atlanta (who have more wins than the celts actually). But the Cavs are on a 13 game winning streak, something to be wary of this late in the season.

In the west our biggest threat is the Nuggets, with Dallas close behind. We got worked against the nuggets the last time we played them, even tho Carmelo was out for injury - Billups is too much of a threat from outside - bastard!

Thursdays trade deadline is looming, and while we want to get rid of Vujacic, NO ONE really wants him (sad)... plus the Mavericks picking up Caron Butler and the Cavaliers and Celtics rumored to be after All-Stars like Amar'e Stoudemire and Antawn Jamison has made the Lakers feel forced to pull off a trade of their own.

The Lakers would love to acquire Devin Harris from the Nets, but that isnt likely and now a three team deal would potentially send Kirk Henrich over from the Bulls, in exchange for Adam Morrison, and Vujacic going to Portland...

All in all, as much as I love the Lakers, this year is not going to be as cut and dry as last year, especially since Kobe is injured and the east is fairly injury free. The road to the finals will be a tough battle all said and done... we'll see what happens on thursdays trade deadline.

Thursday night against Boston should be a real test of fortitude for the lakers... can they pull off a big win at home? Is this a prequel to the finals? I know I will be watching... tonight we play the 3rd worst team in the NBA - GSW... Kobe is rumored to return, but if I were Phil i would make him rest up for thursdays battle at home.

  3. The BigFoot team built that truck... the same team that builds the bigfoot monster trucks. This WAS one of my favorite lifted trucks of all time, now I think its a Joke.

Thats like a 2 foot jump, what a pile of shit... there was so much hype around that truck too, weak. I wonder if they will rebuild it.

  4. The grand national roadster show is at the Pamona Fairplex this weekend... a lot of big dollar roadsters will be there, it is a huge show. Jerry Magnuson owner of Magnacharger will be there with his million dollar Foose built roadster, among many others.

Im going Saturday and meeting a few members from PT.net... anyone free to meet up on Sat at the show?

here is the website and info-

Post up if you can make it.

  5. dang can't believe I missed this. Congrats Dave  . I've read a ton of your post and articles and remember the first pics of your truck a long long ago. what month did the mag come out? I'd like to try and find it and buy it. I let me subsciption run out last year. Congrast again on a job well done :chevy:

Thanks brother... it was last months issue, you might be able to back order a copy? Not sure, check out truckin's website?

    But thanks again

  6. Dave thank you for letting me come by and take a good luck at your truck. it is truly amazing . the pictures dont help much but the dam truck is spotless. it looks like it was rolled off the showroom floor this way . not a spec of dirt to be found on it.

i really need a ride in s afast truck man so let me know when you get it tuned.

btw good luck on the next big project . if its anything like this one the bar cant be raised much higher but being 6"13 you get that extra step.

Glad you made it by, and thanks for the kind words. Youre right the pics dont do it any justice at all, but I didnt build a daily driver truck, I have a DD, so I have the option to drive it or not, I can enjoy it whenever I want.

The next project, (truck) will be as extreme, probably more... you know what im doing, as long as I get a green light... I should know after I get back from Japan in a couple weeks.

  7. Nice write up Dave, I just have one question, how come you didnt thank all of you sponsors? I would think they would want that with all the help you got on the build. just a question, i know i had to mention MTX and SSBC in my write up. maybe yours are less demanding? hmmm!!!

cant wait to see the next build you have in your sleeve. I have done a few for others, but i like doin them for myself more so. this way there are no deadlines, no questions, its all YOU into it and best of all, you get to drive it once its done. The truck I did for MTX SEMA show 2 years ago, seeing that thing leave was like giving up my first born child. It sucked!!

I am not the editor of Truckin' I didnt write the article... a complete sponsor list was given to them and yes, they left out a couple of people, not my fault.

  8. hey thanks guys!! This build sure taught me a thing or two about a lot of things... if that makes any sense!

Now that I am done I am looking forward to spring so I can enjoy it.

I am moving on to another project :ninja: I have a large corporation (400+ stores) that wants me to build a show truck for them for marketing purposes, I meet with them after the holidays... stay tuned, more to come!!!
