    yeah thanks dave it was nice meeting you too :cheers: i will probably be heading out to LA soon and maybe could get a mini g2g going

     

    for sure... im thinking about the first weekend in Dec as the annual Motors For Toys event is that weekend and there will be over 2000 customs/exotics/etc there... so I might have a BBQ at the shop after the meet, more to follow.

    Not trying to jack the OP's original thread, but I guess this has turned into a SEMA chat...

     

    I met up with Josh, Zane, Zippy, Lindsey, Brian(autoguy), and Matt (Quinster) on tuesday night, it was nice to put a face to everyones names, even if Josh and Zane were three sheets... lol

     

    Reynaldo (chpspecial) gave me a smoking deal to tow my truck out there too, thank you Rey, great conversation too man, you surprised me with all of your life accomplishments, damn...

    (he rode a bicycle (tour de france style) 216 miles in one damn day, wtf lol)

    yeah it was a great show.....here is a vid of daves sick truck before she went back on the trailer...i will post more pics later...

     

    Ivan, it was nice meeting you bro... next time we'll have to hang out more and go raise some hell on the strip lol

     

    BTW your truck sounds wicked, love the cutouts, when you started it at the hotel, everyone turned around to check it out :thumbs:

    I am taking a ton of pics I will post when I get back home next weekend. Usabodyguard your truck was getting a lot of looks everytime I went by there today it looked good. I made it about 1/3 of the way through the show today and will be back tomorrow.

    me and the mervz brothers are meeting up tuesday night - i was thinking we could all go over the the RIO for their buffet, i heard it was one of the best in town... quinster is around, I hung out with zippy today, he's down, so a few of us are meeting in the main hall - performance/hot rod - at around 1230 at the back featured vehicle section where my truck is at... if you can make it there - we will figure out the nights events...

  15. Brand New Gaylords Bed Carpet Kit

    when I bought my lid from gaylords the lid they sent out had issues, so much in fact I had to pay $500 for extra paint work and prep to use their lid... I told them to refund me $500 off my original payment of $1400 i paid for the lid... they said they couldnt do it, and instead of fighting with them and my CC company they offered me another product...

     

    well I want to get a new carpet kit for the truck, so they make a california cruiser carpet kit - check their website for information -

    so they sent me this instead of refunding my money back, obviously this isnt worth $500 bucks, but their price on it is still $400 plus shipping - and the box is big so shipping is around $75 bucks...

     

    So I am looking for $375 $350 shipped NEW LOWERED PRICE

     

    This is the OE color they offer.

    yeah that would be tight..........friday is the best day as every car you see in the show room hits the strip for a cruise,the hole convention center smells like high octain fuel mmmmm I LOVE THAT SMELL!! CANT WAIT ONE MORE WEEK

     

     

    sweeeeeet! I didnt know about a cruise, but taking the FPQ down the strip should be some fun... hopefully I can get someone to take a video?

     

    I have to be there Saturday for check in, Rey has been kind enough to tow the truck there, (big thanks to Rey too). So if anyone is going to be around on Saturday night (Halloween), let me know... I heard the Hard Rock is the place to be on Halloween too.

     

    Does anyone know if the Orleans a decent hotel? Im staying there the entire time - my wifes company is having a big conference that week and they reserved 600 rooms, so our hotel is free.

     

    If anyone wants my cell, pm me.

    Ok for a couple of weeks I have been trying to secure a tow for my truck from my shop in thousand oaks ca, to las vegas - SEMA. Every transportation company is telling me that cant guarantee a pick up or arrival time.

    I was called by the show manager yesterday... instead of arriving Sunday with the rest of the 350 cars/trucks they have selected 25 cars/trucks - mine being one of them - to arrive on Saturday afternoon, so we can be placed in the feature vehicle section inside in the main building.

     

    Does anyone have access to a truck and trailer? or have connections with a flatbed or an enclosed trailer? The trip is 4 hours... I am willing to pay for gas, and money, along with a free pass for the entire week. I need to tow it back the following Saturday, i have to be out of the hall by 6pm.

     

    Ive spent a lot of time and hard work on this project, I have a company meeting me there to see my truck as I might be commissioned to build them a SEMA car, so it is important to be there. A private flatbed would cost $2500+ and I cant afford that :(

     

    I really need some help, thanks in advance!

    Wow thats a bad ass truck surely something to be proud off. quick question where did you get the stainless radiator shroud cover it really sets off the engine compartment.

    very very nice

     

     

    its actually a carbon fiber cover, not stainless, and I got it from a member here - Art - WICKEDOWESIX... I have the matching fusebox lid too.
