I have too much to lose in my line of work to have someone do any illegal shit at my shop, period. I employ several off duty police officers that are close friends who want to come a check out some cool rides... it probably wouldnt be a good thing for him to come around... OK... here is the tentative plan... you can attend all of it or some of it, but here is the days events!! 7am - Calabasas Sunday car show - each sunday in calabasas, there is a g2g for exotics, muscle cars, old cars, etc... in a parking lot in Calabasas (huge parking lot i might add). People start arriving as early as 530am... but the meet closes between 930-1000am... 10am - cruise up pch to my shop 1030am - My shop will be open from 1030am onwards... I have a gas bbq and I will get a couple of hamburger packs from costco with buns, along with hot dogs and buns... I saw that someone is bringing steak and carne asada... that might be a pain in the ass for guys to eat, but I see that bad ass silvy is bringing a BBQ, you guys can cook the steaks and asada on his, while mine cooks burgers and dogs... a couple simple rules for my shop... 1. no burn outs IN the parking lot... on the street i dont care, its your ass not mine lol 2. clean up after yourself, dont leave any trash in the parking lot or in my shop, thanks 3. be respectful to me, my shop, and to everyone else in attendance I figure we will start cooking at around noon... the go kart place is open from 10am - 9pm... It is awesome that the LV guys will be making along with 2 tuners!!!! should be an awesome day guys, plus I have some of my local buddies joining me... couple of old sleds, some chopper friends of mine and more... The Adams rep from my area will be coming out too... 15% off all detailing products!!! Maybe a couple of other surprises too... :secret:

I've worked for dozens of celebs, and the irony behind these "tree-hugger-wannabe-celebrities" with their hybrids is this... they will trade in their luxury cars for these hybrids, but at the same time own private jets and think it is OK to take a weekend trip to where ever in their jet... how much sense does that make... the carbon footprint the make with 1 round trip flight across the US in their private jet far surpasses their conservation effort they make in driving their prius for an entire year vs their old car... and they tend to take several trips per year in their private jets. bunch of DAMN Hippocrates... The EPA should charge an eco tax to these private jets if they dont already do so. for the record im no hippy tree hugger environmentalist, I do try to recycle as much as possible, but it will be a cold day in hell when i own a hybrid... This is old, but good anyways... but understand... they are running the prius at TOP SPEED, or fast as possible... which is not that fast, but regardless it is a biased comparison... Like he says, it is HOW you drive... the prius is being pushed to its maximum throughout the entire race, once the M3 is up to speed, it takes less gas to keep it cruising at the top speed of the prius. In NORMAL typical everyday driving, the prius would far surpass the economics of the M3. But still, the batteries in a prius are mined in canada, then shipped throughout europe and refined along the way, until reaching Japan, where they eventually get inserted into vehicles... all of the steps involved with the battery making process, make the prius not very economical and BAD for the environment in the long run.

not trying to jack your thread, but $1500, i seriously doubt youre gonna get that much... I have the same exact motor with the same amount of miles - for $600... only thing missing is injectors and fuel rails... and I havent gotten any bites on mine.

I posted on PT.net... i have a few friends over there that will join us... here is what i posted... WHEN: Sunday May 24th 2009 WHERE: Socal - Thousand Oaks/Calabasas WHY: BBQ/car show/go karting/cruise WHO: You! Anyone with a love for trucks, cars, etc... and is not currently on probation/parole hahaha... So Ive been wanting to have a g2g at my new office/shop and the guys over at sss.com were looking for a location to have one, so we combined this one together... Sunday morning is a show and shine 0600 - 0900 in calabasas... lots of exotics, corvettes, muscle cars... after that we can meet up at my shop for a big BBQ... Also about a block down the street is a huge indoor go cart track... 50,000 sq feet. picture (it is much bigger in person) MB2 Raceway... I will post directions etc when the time gets closer... Afterwards a cruise down PCH...

dont cancel is just yet... im pming guys for another date... the 24th of may, sunday, is a much better day for me and a lot of guys i know locally that want to attend... and I know my truck will be ready by then... stay tuned...
