  1. I surely hope you are not serious about the WOMAN comment, if so that is pretty lame man.

I didnt mean anything by it. They really know their stuff and when it comes to their job they get it done right. Hopefully she will work with me. The only time I had a guy adjuster he told me that he didnt have a clue about the specific machine which would of been my snowmobile.

Why would you not go with caliming it through insurance? Just wondering because it came to near $2000 with the rim.

  2. Well I was driving along and of corse a deer decided to cross the road at the same time  I hit the breaks but did not swerve or anything because I didnt want to hit a mailbox or roll the SSS. It is an 04 SSS red with only 30k on it. It looks like it barely did anything. It broke the tab on the driver fog light bezel/grey grate thing, very minorly cracked the bumper where the lower bumper grill and the upper big portion of the bumper meet which is the spot they leave black so it is not noticable, cracked the plastic inner wheel plastic and the bumper to fender gap filler, cracked the mounting tab on the headlight, and seems that it messed up one of my aftermarket giovanni rims.

What should I do, and how should I go about talking to the WOMAN that is meeting me later this week to check it out? There is so much aftermarket junk out there that I dont want on my truck in place of the factory parts.

Also if anyone has a link or the parts themselves I need that driver grey fog bezzel, red factory bumper and that is about it. Thanks for the help in advance.

  3. I was wondering the best way to go out looking for an SS. Classified, Private or Dealer... Any tips would be great since we are looking for one in Las Vegas or Orange County.

Sorry if in wrong section, kinda a general question.

Well I can tell you that on ebay right now it seems that there are a million alone in Texas and Florida combined. Good luck.

  4. I lowered my 4x4 sierra with lowering keys in the front, and I put the lowering shackles in the back as well as taking out the 1.5 inch spacers. It looked really nice but the only thing is that the rear axle would hit the frame over hard bumps and that was with the bump stops out. Do people just leave the bump stops in and have it ride on them or what other method do you use in the back for a nice ride? I was thinking of taking off the metal bracket that held the bump stops on the frame and fastening the bump stops to the frame itself to give more room. Would this work? Also I was wondering if putting in lowering spindles in the front instead of lowering keys would keep it the same camber or would it tweek it just like lowering the torsion keys will? What lowering setup does everyone prefer?

  5. Ok so I am going to go get this here but I am going to think about it for about an hour. As much input about trannies with these mods would be nice. Do they hold or no even with a shift kit? It shifts really hard because of some sort of kit it has but not sure what it is yet. Are these trannies available and if so how easy and about how much?
