wait wait wait.. you got into an accident right after you got the truck?!
Yep that is right. Dam deer! Here is my post on it.
-
Here are mine before the deer accident, new headlights, and the lowering kit.
-
Do you know for sure that it is tuned or maybe it has the factory tune in it still.

I am looking for an absolutely perfect red front bumper cover with original paint, and a grey drivers side fog light trim bezzel peice with no brokin tabs. LEt me know what you have.
-
I surely hope you are not serious about the WOMAN comment, if so that is pretty lame man.
I didnt mean anything by it. They really know their stuff and when it comes to their job they get it done right. Hopefully she will work with me. The only time I had a guy adjuster he told me that he didnt have a clue about the specific machine which would of been my snowmobile.
Why would you not go with caliming it through insurance? Just wondering because it came to near $2000 with the rim.

Well I was driving along and of corse a deer decided to cross the road at the same time I hit the breaks but did not swerve or anything because I didnt want to hit a mailbox or roll the SSS. It is an 04 SSS red with only 30k on it. It looks like it barely did anything. It broke the tab on the driver fog light bezel/grey grate thing, very minorly cracked the bumper where the lower bumper grill and the upper big portion of the bumper meet which is the spot they leave black so it is not noticable, cracked the plastic inner wheel plastic and the bumper to fender gap filler, cracked the mounting tab on the headlight, and seems that it messed up one of my aftermarket giovanni rims.
What should I do, and how should I go about talking to the WOMAN that is meeting me later this week to check it out? There is so much aftermarket junk out there that I dont want on my truck in place of the factory parts.
Also if anyone has a link or the parts themselves I need that driver grey fog bezzel, red factory bumper and that is about it. Thanks for the help in advance.

When you do drop spindles do you have to realign it after or will it be the same? I think you have to realign it with the lowering keys but was not sure on the spindles.

Ok found what I was looking for.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-07-CHEVY...sspagenameZWDVW
Is that a good price?

Thanks everyone. Anyone know if they sell just the bumper grill peices instead of an entire kit?
-
I was going to try and find some incerts for the bumper so if you know where I can get just the bomper ones let me know. I was actuallly looking for black but red is nice too. I got a deal on it so I had to buy the red.

I was wondering the best way to go out looking for an SS. Classified, Private or Dealer... Any tips would be great since we are looking for one in Las Vegas or Orange County.
Sorry if in wrong section, kinda a general question.
Well I can tell you that on ebay right now it seems that there are a million alone in Texas and Florida combined. Good luck.

hey bro i was just about to post my jg gauge cluster its super clean im asking 250 but its a steal i purchased for 390.
Send me a few photos of it and miles.
-
I am looking for a Sss gauge cluster and the miles don't matter. Let me know what you have and how much. Thanks!

Very sad to see. I dont understand how that works that they have those parts and none of the rest. My best guess is salvage title and or flood (partial) on title.

What proven wheel power gains do these add with power adder or NA?
-
Fun cars to mod but like anything they can be a huge money pit. I have a 97 eclipse spyder convert that I converted the motor and also put in AWD. That car has near 450 HP.

I bought my truck with the magna on it and was wondering if there was a quick way to tell which one it is. Sorry im new to the supercharger info I am used to turbos.
-
I dont know if this means anything but I picked up from a GM dealer a 2004 sss with 27,000 miles, magnacharger, headers, exhaust, hard bed cover, carpet bed liner, 22" rims, and a 3 year warranty for 22,900 out the door. Just to give you an idea.

I lowered my 4x4 sierra with lowering keys in the front, and I put the lowering shackles in the back as well as taking out the 1.5 inch spacers. It looked really nice but the only thing is that the rear axle would hit the frame over hard bumps and that was with the bump stops out. Do people just leave the bump stops in and have it ride on them or what other method do you use in the back for a nice ride? I was thinking of taking off the metal bracket that held the bump stops on the frame and fastening the bump stops to the frame itself to give more room. Would this work? Also I was wondering if putting in lowering spindles in the front instead of lowering keys would keep it the same camber or would it tweek it just like lowering the torsion keys will? What lowering setup does everyone prefer?

Anyone know if this was someones truck from on here. They lived in Elk River Minnesota if that helps. Hopefully it isnt beat and traded in because there is something major about to go wrong with it. Warranty for the win on that though since they said they would cover it.
-
Thanks everyone. So far everything is good on the ride. Anyone have a guess on how this was tuned? Reflash computer im guessing? If so can I still use a programmer or how can I fix my speedo.

Ok so I am going to go get this here but I am going to think about it for about an hour. As much input about trannies with these mods would be nice. Do they hold or no even with a shift kit? It shifts really hard because of some sort of kit it has but not sure what it is yet. Are these trannies available and if so how easy and about how much?

So I am thinking of upgrading a few things. I was going to paint the grilles red and take out the grille insert. I was also going to upgrade the grille to an 06 grille. What do you think?
