  1. This may be a dumb question since you're used to living in a cold weather climate, but how cold was it? My old truck overheated on me once when it was about -10 outside. Turned out I didn't have the correct ratio of antifreeze and my radiator froze solid. With no water circulation the truck overheated. The temp guage was all over the place. I let everything thaw out, flushed the radiator and that bad boy fired right back up.
  2. Yeah, all my equipment is installed and the center console is in rough form. I need a good weekend to finish it all up.
  3. Wow, no interest? These will fit your wife's Tahoe, Avalanche etc., too.
  4. The tailgate cladding piece is a shaped strip of plastic about three or four inches wide that goes on the bottom of the tailgate just above the bumper. It attaches with double sided tape. I think I paid $50 for it. Let me know if there's interest.
  5. I think I paid $20 for it. Score me a 20 spot Pimp and I'll even deliver that sucker to you at the next GTG. I have an Arrival Blue tailgate cladding piece as well that's in pretty good shape. Interested? Anyone that needs that stocker/black plastic handle let me know. Can't break up the band guys, sorry. Bumper's gotta go complete. It really is in great shape.
  6. As the title says, one excellent condition SS rear bumper, complete with brackets, pads, clips, everything. It is Victory Red. I bought it off a member here who un-bolted it from his own truck. I'm asking $300 plus shipping. I was going to make an SS clone but I'm tired of looking for cladding and too cheap to pay the dealer. Now I'm just worried this thing is going to get dinged up sitting in my garage so it needs to go. It's been sitting for a year so it's full of dust. Let me know if you're interested and I'll clean it and shoot some better pics.
  7. Okay, here are some pics. 8108 is the Vizualogic color code. Again, they are the light grey cloth headrests. I forgot to measure the size of the buckets but I'll post dimensions later. Let's get 'em sold!
  8. About $70 cheaper than Beltech themselves. Nice!
  9. I have one and I'm in Dallas. Sending a PM.
  10. Fight the power! Don't ever "just pay the ticket." First offense, your insurance, tags, inspection are all up to date, you were polite and courteous to the arresting officer, you'll wear a coat and tie to court and shave before you get there...you'll be fine. You have to contact the court to let them know what you want to do on or before 3/6 or they will issue a bench warrant (some places it's called an attachment) for you. Typically, not always, but typically traffic courts have times in the morning when you can go in and talk to the city attorney before your court date to take care of the ticket. Other times, if you want to fight the ticket (and we all know you do) you show up before the time, but on the date written on your ticket. It's a cattle call court date which means there will be a ton of other people there in the exact same position as you. Go in the back before the judge takes the bench and talk to the city attorney or prosecutor and see what you can work out. Also, do a little research. Go to the libraray and look up the regulation that the cop cited you for. Go to the court's website and see what's available for speeding tickets like yours. You always have to wait a few days for your ticket to filter through their computer system before you can do anything though.
  11. Blue beats all, no question. Nice find. Welcome.
  12. I've done that twice where I put in an offer and it was rejected by the seller. Then about a week later, both times, I got an e-mail from the seller with a counter offer and I ended up getting both that way. But do what E-bay says, make sure everything routes through the E-bay site. That way, if there's a problem you can sick E-bay on 'em.
  13. Up for grabs is a set of brand new, never installed pre-wired headrests made by Vizualogic. No Monitors, just the headrests ready to accept screens. They are the light grey cloth material matching the '04 interiors. I'd like to get $250 for them but I'm checking to see who's interested. I'll shoot and post some pictures of them this weekend. Like an idiot, I ordered the wrong color the first time and they don't take returns. I had to order the correct color and then swap the screens out. For those that don't know Vizualogic, these have the control and power wire run up through the post for the headrest. The headrest itself is a ratcheting design that allows you to adjust the viewing angle. These are the 7" screen design. I don't have the exact measurement of the monitor buckets but I'll post that this weekend too. For those that have the light grey cloth interior, these would be perfect for a monitor install.
  14. Cha ching! Now that Brad's on here the world is once again in harmony.
  15. '04 with 67,7xx. Just enough time to get my guages swapped out.
  16. Sue early and sue often I always say. Way to keep your cool. Don't take his insurance company's word for it. They make their living out of not paying claims. If he is one, his homeowner's insurance should cover intentional acts. Oh, and don't do small claims. Get an attorney and file in District Court, remember you have his intentional infliction of emotional distress to think about. Hmmm, I could probably also argue civil battery in that situation as well.
  17. Dude, I've said it before, once a Camp Director, always a Camp Director. It means you're good at getting people together. If you sucked at it we wouldn't let you do it again. Ashley, see above, plan for March/April. My vote is April. March is busy busy. Where's West Texas? Is there any life west of I-35W?
  18. I need another pocket piece for my screen install but I don't need the lighter sockets if that helps anybody out. Let me know a price if one is still available.
  19. Cladding! Interested in the two rear quarter panel pieces just in front of the rear bumper.
  20. Damn! I can't believe I missed another one! I finally found the restaurant at about 4:10 (nav system is on its way back to Delphi), sat in the gigantic empty space next to a black TBSS and and a Sierra V-max, where everybody was probably parked, and waited for about 30 mins. I must have arrived just after y'all left to take pictures. Ugh! We'll have to do it again when it warms up. Justin (Camp Director), bust out your calendar and start looking at dates, and Ashley, you'll have to come back down. Great looking pics, looks like a good time was had by all.

Let's be honest P, she's not going to mind getting strapped to the hood of a truck either.

Got this in an e-mail: ~ Tough Love vs. Spanking ~ (a psychological conundrum) Most of America 's populace think it improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of 'those moments.' One that I found effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk. They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our car ride together. I've included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son, in case you would like to use the technique. Sincerely, A Friend
  23. Ash honey, be careful. You're in oil country now. If some wildcatter down there discovers that you're a significant source of natural gas, you'll end up with a pump and a pipe up your a$$ faster than you can say, "Hey y'all, watch this!"
  24. As if the "fisting" thread wasn't entertainment enough. Just take it easy on P. He's old you know, and apparently he's having problems with UFOs.
