  1. No way, Popeye's has the best fast-food biscuits, hands down. Plus you can get them with red beans! That's a Southern boy's delight right there! And Brad, life is waaaaaayyyyy too short to eat at Red Lobster.
  2. I'm still amazed LSU back-doored their way in after that game. The National Title game should be interesting. I hope Ohio State shows up this year. Gotta love the SEC.
  3. What? No additional comments? Anybody want to make a guess on how the Bowl Games are gonna shake out?
  4. A friend just sent this to me: When a woman wears a leather dress, A man's heart beats quicker, And his throat gets dry, He goes weak in the knees, And he begins to think irrationally. Ever wonder why? Because she smells like a new truck.
  5. Pimp is a great guy, I just wish he'd wash that damn truck once in awhile! Sheesh, did you see the two specs of dust the last time he was out?
  6. I'll fifth it. Stay far far away.
  7. Wow, she gets a ring AND she gets to ride in the truck on a regular basis?? That is one lucky woman right there! Take a disposable camera and have a bystander snap a pic at "The Moment" if possible. They usually turn out to be pretty cool pictures.
  8. I find litigation usually drives the point home. Nothing like a well-written TRO to brighten someone's day.
  9. If you're going to do video, make sure your face and name are not on it: By DAVID SCHOETZ Nov. 30, 2007 Authorities have confirmed they are investigating a viral Internet video that shows a driver in a Lamborghini who claims to be driving at 219 mph on an Arizona highway. "This is still an ongoing investigation," Lt. James W. Warriner, a spokesman for the Airzona Department of Public Safety, told ABC News. "We will not be commenting until the investigation is complete." The video, originally posted on YouTube, runs more than four minutes long and appears to be professionally produced. In the nighttime footage, an unidentified thrill seeker in a gold Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 appears to be pushing the vehicle to within 1 mph of the its 220 mph maximum. At the tail end of the clip, an unseen man is heard claiming the achievement as a new record. "I'm the driver, and this is a world speed record for an LP640," the man says -- "219 mph, try to beat that." Before the driver speaks, a man identified by the name of Christian, whose face is visible, claims that he was in the passenger seat when the car hit 219 mph along an Arizona freeway traveled by thousands of motorists each day. "To the nonbelievers out there, 219 is possible," Christian says. The video, introduced with graphics claiming the Web sites www.205mph.com and www.azstreetscene.com as sponsors, contains footage shot from both inside the moving Lamborghini as well as from a stationary post along the road. Several runs are filmed in which the driver and a passenger can be seen hitting higher and higher marks, first 211 mph, then 214 mph before the finale. At one point the car can be seen in a parking lot with characteristic gull-winged doors opened. In the final run, the car approaches a straightaway after bending into a curve at 170 mph. "Here we go," a voice says over the purr of the luxury car's engine. The dashboard camera reveals the speed: 219 mph. The Web site www.205mph.com featured in the Lamborghini clip has been pulled down. Lee and Aaron Benson, founders of the other Web site, www.arizonastreetscene.com, a car club formed in April 2006, did not respond to e-mails sent by ABC News.
  10. Whoa, he's going to be broadening your what??? Oh, horizons...hmmm....
  11. Live tree all the way. And LED lights are the way to go. They don't generate any heat so they don't dry out the tree as fast. I put 'em on last year and I'll never go back.
  12. Looks good man, but how are you going to get the truck down there? And where are you going to put the lift? Do you have enough ceiling room?
  13. Yeah, no helmet necessary, but I do have the Nav system now in case I get lost on the way to the finish line.
  14. Now this is my kind of challenge! I've got a nearly bone stock 5.3 x-cab with all the options. Next time us TX guys have a GTG in Denton I'm getting on the track.
  15. Geaux Tigers! Remember we lost to Kentucky and Arkansas in triple overtime. Can the Vols handle that? We just happy we're not facing Georgia or Florida again. Michigan can have Les Miles. I don't know what fool would call a pass play for a two-point conversion when Hester should have been running it up the middle. I can't believe I froze my a$$ off in Death Valley for that crap Friday.
  16. I bought my girl a Tom Tom Go 700. It's super easy to use and she loves it. I spent about $350 at the time. I would try and get one that uses a hard drive verses a disk or other storage media. newegg.com is good but don't forget pricegrabber.com and bensbargains.net. Also Best Buy has an employee auction site that sometimes has some deals on it.
  17. I just couldn't justify the extra money for the AWD. The week after I bought my truck I learned about the V-Max. Then, about six months later they started offering the sun roofs. Double If I had to do it again, and if they offered it, I'd get an '05 style in arrival blue w/AWD and a sunroof...and absolutely every other option. Ah, hindsight.
  18. That's a good deal right there. What did they do, wreck it on a test drive? It looks like a dealer demo. I wouldn't worry about a salvage title. I bought a '94 SS S-10 with a salvage title. Drove it for ten years, put more than 100K miles on it. I paid $9K for it and sold it for $3K. Basically I drove the hell out of it for a decade for $6K, plus normal maintenance. Never had a problem with that truck. I even had a local dealer that always made the warranty repairs on it. Apparently they never ran the VIN.
  19. Hey everyone, my name is Mike, and...sigh...I'm a Chevyholic.
  20. What's that about a bird in the hand.... Foul! Those are some nasty stats my friend. Does explain a few things though. Sorry, I meant to type: Fowl!
  21. How about trying a lock pick? Not sure if that's what you're trying to achieve but you could use your own equipment. http://www.coastaletech.com/GMLOCKPICK.htm
  22. Cool thanks. It's radio controls on the right and one driver information switch on the lower left. I asked for a new Denali wheel for Christmas.
  23. There's no way to change the bulbs without pulling the wheel off? About half of mine are burned out now. Looks like this may be a good time to upgrade my wheel.
  24. I'm all about the new Camaro. Convertible RS/SS in 2010. Saving my pennies now. That yellow one in the pictures is actually a mock-up for the movies. Most of it's fake and it's literally a re-skinned GTO. There's a Motor Trend or some other magazine article on the web about it.
