  1. Here's how to stop 99% of crime. You listening Mr. Obama!?!? Bring back capital punishment. No more 5-10, out in 2 BS! All the while they pump iron and make criminal friends... You do wrong to a serious extend... death! Public stoning, draw and quarter, burned at the stake etc etc! And none of that death sentence 20 years from now BS either... the executioner is in the parking lot waiting for the verdict! The judge drops the gavel, you get a hood put on, and you're walked to the lot. Goodnight! We don't need those people on our planet. They only hurt good people. My .02!
  2. Do it! It's soooo worth it. Stay above a '99 though... if you wanna be dead balls accurate on the cruiser look... stay above an '02. They changed alot in '03.
  3. After many years of wanting one, I decided to sell an old playing card collection (Magic: The Gathering) on eBay. A few weeks later... ca-ching! Police Interceptor! Now before I get rants of "a$ just wants to be a poser cop!"... there were many reasons for the buy... (by the way, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them as a secondary vehicle). 1) The way people drive around you. No more tailgating, cutting you off, 25mph in the left lane, not allowing you to merge in... etc etc. 2) Park wherever you want. 3) They're white and stay clean for what seems like an eternity (compared to a black SS). 4) Dirt Cheap! I paid $2500 with 85k miles on an '01. 5) Parts are dirt cheap! 6) Fast and Handle like they're on rails! 7) Decent on gas 17 city/23-25 highway. 8) Easily 200k + miles running life (if cared for). 9) Bare bones interior, plastic floors, upholstered seats... black wheels... what's that? I hit a curb!? Shake Shake, Rattle Rattle Hhsssss... Fixed! 10) Finally; a beefed up trans and shift points, oil pan, external oil-to-coolant heat exchanger, trans cooler, brakes, 3.55 posi, aluminum metal matrix composite driveshaft, heavy duty shocks, stainless dual exhaust, sway bars and stiffeners out the a**, and a beefy alternator. Yeah, they are driven pretty darn hard, but I see alot for sale with over 150K... and I believe there's a reason taxi-cab companies (who make they're money based on driving!) want them... I've spoken to a few cops that I know about them and they all say they're one tough car. (I know it's still a Ford, lol)... Fun factor: watch people glance at you in the mirror every 3 seconds, put their seatbelts on "discretely" (or so they think, haha!), and see all the cars lighting up the trees behind them with their brake lights when they see you coming... Also got free food ar McDonalds, lol, never even asked if I was a cop; just assumed. It needs a little cosmetic work... maybe a paint job. But as far as mechanical; only a "tick tick" exhaust leak and a bad control arm bushing. I'm going to get some new headlights (they're dingy looking) and a gorhino push bumper for it, and maybe a small antennae... here's a crappy cell phone pic (pre-detail).
  4. Looks great... I think the shopman1 bowtie is the best thing I've ever done to my truck as far as $$$/Results go.
  5. Not my listing, but I saw them and had to show this deal (at least I think it's cheap, never really priced seats). If it were just a driver seat, they'd be mine! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy-Silve...sQ5fAccessories
  6. Just saw a commercial that claims 5X protection over Mobil1... forget the brand, Castrol Synthetic? I do remember, "Whaap" "Think with your dipstick, Jimmy!".
  7. Oh wow... I JUST now finished changing the plugs and wires. E3 plugs and basic wires (until my mpg\plus wires come in the mail). I'll be doing the PCV and fuel filter tomorrow afternoon. What is the Seafoam (I'll try a search now) thing you guys mentioned? I've never heard of it... By the way, thanks for the help guys. silverta16, I didn't mean to hijack your topic, my apologies... Update: Plugs and wires helped a great deal. Much smoother and a ton of power back.
  8. PS: Does anyone know if it's hard to clean?
  9. If I had the money I'd F G do it! Flat black with a low gloss powdercoat!
  10. Looks like someone forgot to put the oil pan bolt back in... Damn, I have never seen anything like that. Good luck with the rebuild. I'm thinking 11's next?
  11. That's why I hate ALL people! LOL... I get laughed at because I park so far I have to get to the store 40 minutes before they close so I can make it inside in time... and they still find me. A little story: (true) When I was about 10 years old I stayed in the car while my parents went inside a store. I saw this truck that was sooo nice, parked sooo far away and really snickered at him. He was parked all by himself, not a car ANYWHERE near him. A few moments later some soccer mom loaded her trunk, moved her cart into the empty spot next to her and drove away . That cart started ever so slowly to roll downhill. I watched this cart gain speed and hone in like a smart bomb, BOOM right into the side! WHAT ARE THE ODDS? Lesson of the story, always park at the peak of the hill in a lot because assholes WILL find you. I think about that every time I park now.
  12. SS 22's. If I could afford it, they'd already be on!
  13. Title says it all... They don't have to work... looking for just the piece that mounts on the roof. Doesn't even have to have the wires...
  14. 04 SS w/ 97K miles. Bought it 2 years ago this April with 31K... Ugh, I drive too much! Still looks good though... IF I can keep this road salt away!
  15. I've looked all over for a "hosted by" link or other info with no luck. Anyone know? FreeBoards, Proboards, etc etc... I like the layout and would like to start one. (non-SS related). Thanks if anyone knows...
  16. Any idea what it is? Major problem or tune-up? I just assumed it was getting old... just wear and tear...
  17. 98K miles here 04 AWD SS... no major problems. There are some noises now. A hum here and click there. No biggie though. I have noticed a ton of power loss though. Just FYI. Oh yea, my mpg dropped pretty good too... almost 2 to 3 mpg less now.
  18. Appreciate the word guys. I don't want to zap my head unit.
  19. I know members have asked about this... quality isn't good but...
  20. You can save the image and load into a decent image app and find pics online and view rims they don't sell too... pretty handy. I lost this link a while back. Great find man!
  21. I'd never put them on my SS but they look pretty good on that 350Z. $2K a pop for a $20 piece of plexi-glass
