Couldnt aggree more...definatly go with a new head unit. You can get a new good one at walmart for like 80 bucks. I know its walmart but there better than the stock units anyday

Ok, I probably wont do this any time soon (out of funds...lol), Im just curious about headers. How much HP will I gain with LT's?, what brand?, How much will they cost? Will I have to lose the 02 sensors(would probably get it tuned to eliminate them anyway) when i put them on?, and how much better would the truck sound? All in all im just trying to decide if there worth the money or not. Right now the only perf. mod I have is dual exhaust w/ 40 series flows dumped at the muffler. Another question is should I run pipes all the way out the back? what about side exhaust, does anyone have it? sound better or worse? thanks guys

Ok i have a PS2 (kinda outdated, i know) that i want to put in my truck...where can i hide it and should i use a power inverter to feed the power to it or should i use something else? Thanks guys its one of the big ones...id like to find somebody to trade me

No rattles. I thought I was going to have do do a little more sound proofing on the box but i didnt. I built the box out of 3/4 inch MDF, carpeted it and then made my stainless coverings out of 1.2 millimeter stainless. It would help even more if you made the peice out of only 1 peice of steel. Mine is a 2 peice covering but fits together extremely well. <br /><br />Thanks alot for all the compliments guys...

Thanks man, I work at a sheetmetal factory and deal with it everyday. Yes it is stainless and i did all of the fabrication for it myself

So besides subwoofers and an amp for those...what other coponents do you all have. I was looking at maybe buying some kick panels and some speakers and tweets to go in them. I am a DIE HARD kicker fan but might branch out a little. I already have: 1 Kicker ZX750.1 Class D Amp 2 12" Kicker CVRs Valor DTS 603 W Indash CD/DVD player Any suggestions are appreciated...

You can always just do what i did and make your own.

Pretty simple really all i did was cut some plywood to the right size to fit snugly behind my seat. Then i covered it in carpet. No Gluing/drilling required. Makes it very simple to tak in and out. BTW as soon as i get some more carpet ill be covering all of that insulation.

Where did you get yours from and did it jus bolt on?

If Im only running one amp is a power cap worth the money? If so... 1.) Decent brands? 2.) How big? Setup: 2 12" Kicker CVRS. 1 Kicker 750.1 Class D amp. 1 Valor DTS 603W head unit. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

Why did you sell it? Just curious...did you have it wired to play while driving and if so, how?

Anybody know anything about the Valor DTS-603W? And is there anywhere that carries Valor thats cheaper than crutchfield?

hey guys thanks for all the help and i think im gonna take your advice on not putting the component speakers in the box. If its going under my seat should i use a sealed or ported box?...do i have room for a ported box?
