Im building a new box and ive got a few questions, I want to put 2 12" Kicker CVRs in the box firing down but i also want to put to 5 1/4 speakers (also kicker) in the front of the box firing forward. Will there be any intereferance between these four speakers? Should I build a separate chamber for the 2 speakers? the speakers and subs will be running off of 2 separate kicker amps if this makes a differance.

I was thinking about putting a clarion max 675vd double din unit in my truck but when i read up on it a little bit, i found out that it may not work in my truck because of the "factory dash configuration". Crutchfield instalation instructions informed me that it might hit when it flips down. Its not a flip out unit but it does flip down to access the cd port. i guess my question is ...Will it work in my truck even if it flips down?

Ok so i balanced my tires and that helped for a lil while and then it came back...any more opinions?

I guess it really depends on what kind of music you listen to and just how much "bottom end" your wanting. I really like kicker. Awesome products and affordable prices

Im not a big bose fan, either. There great for home audio, i will give them that much credit but i like my music loud. When i get in my SS i want to feel like im at a concert. Personally ive found that "Kicker" makes very good sounding, high qaulity, affordable components. But like everything else, thats an opinion.

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but here it goes anyway. Ive got a vibration between 50-60 MPH. I feel it mainly in my steering wheel but not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.any thing under 50 and its not there and anything over 60 and its not there. Anybody else ever had this problem? Any and all opinions are appreciated

Ok if you take a vehicles 02 sensors out then the check engine light comes on...right? Well i took mine out of my ss and unplugged them (so i had an 02 sensor and 4 wires probably 6-8 inches long and then a plug) No check engine light Im confused? why did it not come on? will it hurt my engine to run like this? Will the computer throw a code later on? whats the deal?

I know a little bit about every thing you all are talking about except for the t stat? what kind do i buy? where do i get it? how much is it? what brand? can i put it in my self? and how do they work? Thanks

Ok, I just got my SSS about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I finally took it to the track about a week agao and boy was i suprised. I was expecting low 15's but i was wrong. I pretty much ran 15.8's all night. I even got beat by a cummins. (ok so maybe it was a little hot, it was barreling black smoke) Ive got about 800- 1000 dollars for bolt on's. Is there any combination that will help me get into the 14's? I was thinking dual exhaust {ive got stock manifolds and cats dualing into one flow and singling out the rear},cold air intake and superchips flashpaq. I was hoping that would shave a second or so. Any and all opinions are appreciated... By the way, i did beat a mustang who had been running low 15s all night (only because he lost a transmission so i cant really call it a win because thats not how i wanted to beat him).

May be a lil late to reply but i will anyways...I had 1 12 and a factory bose unit...it sounded OK. I had to buy the line out converter and tap into some existing speaker wires...later on i replaced the factory deck with a Sony GTX-500 and it sounds AWESOME. My music is an extremly big deal to me so i want to get the best sound possible...if you replace the factory deck then you will get a much better sound. Then if you like the cd changer ( personally i prefer the ipod) then you can get decks with cd changer controls and then buy 6,10 or 12 (etc) disk cd changers and be better off in my opinion. If you replace the deck with one that has true sub preouts your going to get a much much clearer and better sounding system. By the way...this is just my opinion ...lol
