Has anyone seen this months issue of truckin'? In the readers rides there is an 04 Silverado SS with Foose DF-6 wheels. The trucks looks great and i was just wondering if it belonged to anyone in here? Volume 33, #9

OK i jus put 2 40 series flowmasters on my truck and replaced the gasket between the manifold and exhuast pipe on the passenger side. It still leaks. The guy at the dealership said that the 6.0 and the 6.0 HO gaskets were the same ( there not even gaskets there more like rings...) but the guy i bought the truck from said they they were different and you had to have a certain gasket for the 6.0 HO. Are they the same and if not where can i get one?

yeah i sure did...mine was almost a vibration between 50-60 then again at 85...got my transfer case replaced and now its gone. But the transfer case is the LAST place i would have looked for it.

well...i just had my transfer case replaced and thats when it started doing it...i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not but the guy that replaced it said that the transfer case had clutches in it and they may be so tight that thats the problem but i honestly dont know...let me nkow how things go for ya when you get everything checked out...

yeah i asked a local bodyman/ rebuilder who does alot of ss's and says its a real pain. The whole dash has to come out and theres all kinds of sensors that have to be changed wth the digital controls, not to mention the wiring harnesses...it was enough to discourage me from doing it...ill just turn the knobs...lol

kinda makes me wish id bought the flipout instead of the double din....
