    ...im stoked about this meet, the truck is all clean and ready to blaze the trail, got it sitting for the past few days under my new california car/truck cover.

     

    as long as there is no gay shit from dave and his "friends " it should be a good time. hopefully some good video and pics to follow. Ill have the g.f in the truck and she will be taking alot of pics.

     

    i cleaned up most of the under hood wiring mess i had and it looks alot better, im waiting on a few items i ordered but most wont be hear for the g2g but will be on for next months g2g. should look really nice, and hopefully the next time i will be tuned and ready.

     

    HAHA!!

    A buddy of mine is a MMA fighter and we all got mo-hawks to support his fight. Actually liked the look enough that I kept if for half the year. Was fun getting looks all the time from people who thought I was a junkie or a troubled youth! lol wtf??

    My truck should hopefully be finished and ready to go on saturday. My engine is still a big F'ing mess though and like yours there's still some stuff to finish up. Wheel center caps, rear-end, suspension and lots of tuning and problem solving in the engine bay, but hopefully by the time the Carlsbad gtg rolls around it will all be done. End of summer track days look good for me and should have it running good.

    hey julian you said you liked my flowmasters! :wtf::mad: i'm just bustin your B@!!S a little.. i know what your sayin... ;)

     

    I liked the sound back when I was N/A but now that I've got the turbo's...flowmaster's cant handle FI at all, the baffles break like twigs!

    Was hoping the get your call today but figured you'd give me a call when you got'er done!

    julian , will your truck be ready for the g2g?

     

    i think my interior will be next. i just ordered some stuff for it.

     

    Dropped the truck off yesterday morning and they said it will be done Friday night! This shop seems to really have their stuff together so I'm hoping for the best. If it does get done on time the only thing I have to do other that detail the truck is swap out the Flowcrapper for a stock muffler.

    hey Big D!... :-)

    thanks i'll definetley bring my stuff then, it just suck's in two ways, 1st because i'll have a load of box's with me for the run down pch which will add 500-600lbs of weight.. and 2nd because it's not going to look good... but oh well i have to try to move this stuff, and i can't pass up an opportunity like this.

     

    im a little confused on what you said here, "plus im giving out 100 bills to everyone... pause... the suit is NOT black...."

     

    and also for the record my name is David, and i'm kinda heavy (260lbs) and tall (6'1") so i should be a Big D too!.... on second thought.. nah forget it... :jester:

     

    i was just at spoolin's house yesterday, (bought his wheels) he's a cool guy, but i did'nt get to see his truck i said he dropped it off for a detail, so i guess the interior is done?..

     

    anyway, i'll see you guy's there.

     

    If you want to drop anything off at my house before we leave you can. Same goes for anyone else that doesn't wanna haul something up PCH with them. I'm not terribly close to the calabasas gtg but maybe about 15 minutes away.

    Oh and Big D2...I don't know if you ever saw Borat but he was playing off a line in that movie. He's just messin around with the $100 stuff.

    Sorry It's taken a while and I've also been out of town for buissness or this would of happened sooner but I finally picked them up and had them installed. TOTALLY changed the look of the truck and I am now super excited about my truck again. Tell me what you think.

    Back tires, Have a set of Wilwood for those too but need to change my rear-end first. Stupid drum brakes.

    I have center caps for the rims but have to get them color matched (painted) before putting them on, if I can't get them to match perfectly I'll just powdercoat the lugs and find something to cover the center.

    i can't watch any videos on youtube for some reason. a white page comes up and it says " Server : Apache " and then there is a bunch of " Set-Cookies " after that. anyone know what the problem is?

     

    Try typing in Top Gear Zonda in firefox or something...I'll see if I can come up with it. The Zonda took the record for the fastest lap. I can't get over the sound that car makes at WOT. It gives me the chills everytime!!!

    I've seen the tint your refering too but I've seen it on rice rockets and imports. The tint looks really thick and has that "plastic" shine to it and ruins the look IMO. I was looking into it when I wanted my tails done but painting is the best way to go. And like chase said, pay $50 for a used set for insurance.

    Yeah she had a blast in your ride, I'll let her enjoy it a little before I let her drive my truck around. :driving:
