Just got my 07-13 GM Silverado/Sierra (All Cabs) 0" to -4" F/5" or 6" R W/ SP Shocks, part # 647SP in and I can't wait to get it installed. Have a question though, I've been reading the instructions and it says you have to drop the gas tank. Is it possible to install the flip kit without dropping the gas tank????? And can I put my stock tow hitch back on when flip kit is installed???? I was thinking that I could install the flip kit like DJM installs their flip kit. Is this possible????

Norcal SS, I know you deal with DJM and everyone swears by it being the best. But I've been reading on other forums and they've been saying that mcgaughys are better and they've ran in to so much trouble with the DJM kits. If there were issues with the DJM kits before, were they all corrected. With the measurments that I took and posted in the earlier reply. What would be my final measurements after a 3/5 drop? Just subtract 3 from the front and 5 from the back? Dumb question I know. No notching correct? And does DJM offer the sway bar with the 3/5 drop kit?

I have a 2010 Denali CC, hope this info helps. I really don't want to notch my frame.

I just measured from the ground to the bottom of the fender, front 36.5 and the back 39.5 and I have the same tire size, 275 55 20's. Can a 3/5 DJM kit fit also? Or would I have to go with the 3/4 DJM kit? I too, don't want to cut my frame, bouncy rear end, or to stiff.

Sorry, but the new DJM sway bars. Do they make a set for my truck? I guess that was my question.

How would this work on leveling out my truck: The 5100 Series (Ride Height Adjustable) shocks feature multiple snap-ring grooves on the body of the shock to accommodate different spring seat positions, allowing height adjustments from 0" to 2.5", depending on the application. By raising the spring seat position, the factory rake can be altered to achieve a level front to rear ride height while accommodating up to 33" diameter tires.

I've been reading about the new Sonnax Performance Pack with servos and it sounds pretty good. Has anyone installed this in a 4L70E and how does it shift? I only plan on doing bolt-ons and maybe a small cam, will this help my trans or should I just get a FLT level 5 or 7.

Thanks I can of thought the same thing and yes my exhaust is a dual in/ single out. I really don't need their y-pipe, i was planning on getting the whole ARH set up. Which is more restricted, single in or dual in on the mufflers?

I've searched everything about Corsa exhaust and couldn't find anything about my question: My question is: why wouldn't Corsa just sell their mufflers? Isn't the exhaust tubing the same as the stock ones? I wrote them and they said that it had something to do with the tuning of their exhaust system. Is this true about the tuning or could the muffler just be replaced? It would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

I've been interested in get HID's, but I've been following all the threads about the auto headlight sensor and this is what I found on another sight: 2007-2008 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Denali, Denali XL, Sierra This PI was superseded to update model years and Recommendation/Instructions. Please discard PIT4328. The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern: **** THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO U.S. VEHICLES ONLY **** All requests for Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) disable are to be referred to Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC). Instruction about vehicle qualifications and requirements for DRL disable will be provided by TCSC. TCSC is GM's central record keeping location for all of these requests. TCSC toll free number is 1-800 828-6860. **** THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO U.S. VEHICLES ONLY **** Requests for DRL/auto headlamp disconnects must be made by appropriate agencies. The vehicle in question must be owned by a law enforcement agency, military agency or security company. (City/State, Sheriff, FBI, CIA, DEA, Emergency Vehicles.Etc.) It is recommended the dealership obtain a letter on the agencies letterhead requesting the DRLS/auto headlamps be disabled. The letter should contain the specific vehicle identification number which will be disabled, and a statement which reads, "the DRL/auto headlamp system will be made fully operational prior to disposal/sale of the vehicle." the letter should be kept in the vehicle service file at the dealership. Recommendation/Instructions: Procedures to disable daytime running lamps (DRL): Have the dealership technician call Techline at 1-800-828-6860 and request a new calibration for the truck body control module (tbcm) that will disable the DRL's. Recalibrate the TBCM with the new calibration. Procedures to disable to auto headlamps: Unplug the ambient light sensor and put a 600 ohm resistor in place of the sensor. The resistor will command the TBCM to turn the auto headlamps off. The headlights will now have to be manually turned on with the headlight switch. Secure the resistor and connector to prevent rattles.etc. Note:Vehicles equipped with Automatic HVAC (RPO CJ2) may have a light sensor that also includes the sunload sensor for the HVAC system. Make sure the resistor is wired into the ambient light sensor signal wire (Circuit 278) and ground (Circuit 1851). This can be achieved by backing out pin 2 at the light sensor and removing the terminal and adding the resistor to the wire and then splicing the other end of the resistor to the ground wire 2 inches from the light sensor. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.m up with on another site: It's recommended that a 600 ohm resistor is used, is this the right way? Or can a a 1.5 ohm resistor be used? And does anyone have pictures or videos of how to unplug the ambient light sensor on the dash board? Any info is appreciated.

I've searched over and over again, but couldn't find anything on this question. For my turck has a dual in single out muffler set up. What is the difference if I do Dyna LT's with two pipes into Corsa and single out? Or Dyna LT's catted Y single into Corsa and single out? Which one is a better performer. Is there any difference in torque and HP with any of these setups? I hope I make since.
