  1. 21, no wife or kids that I know of and pratically married to the military. GO ARMY.
  2. Hey Buddy this is really simple you don't even have to get under the truck. Just reach up under the bumber, grab the light holder and give it a turn until it comes out.
  3. I've got three years in the Army, currently in Iraq right now and should be home sweet home by the end of the month. I've never even seen my truck but i know I'll enjoy it.
  4. Hey Buddy thanks. I guess my AWD will be about the right ride height I want then. I'll probably add a anti-sway bar in the rear though.
  5. Hey Guys I know this might be a question the gets asked alot but what is the difference between a Silverado SS Suspension (other then 2" drop) vs. a standard suspension? Also which kind of truck is it two inches lower then 2WD or 4WD? I haven't even seen my truck but just wanted to know, I'm almost done with Iraq, almost.
  6. I bought mine because of the performance potential, my 99 Z71 kept getting beat and the 4WD was out of it. Plus big time **** Magnet!
  7. Shaved Camaro's or Firebird's
  8. Well I can afford it so I guess I'm going to go with the insane remote twin turbo! Add a T56 Tranzilla and some 4.10s in a Strange 60. The car won't have anything but the motor and a small stereo so the budget won't be wasted on useless stuff. Owning my own body shop helps with making it look good!
  9. Hey Guys I've been debating on whether to set my compression ratio up for 18 pounds of boost or go Naturaly Aspirated? I'm going to drop a LQ9 402 into my 79 Trans Am and was wondering how ridiculous my horsepower output should be. I figure about 600hp N/A or 1000+ for TT. Just thought you guys could help me decide.
  10. Well Guys over here in Iraq it get to 120+ daily and yes it is only June and no it is not humid but everytime I'm outside it feels like a hairdryer is blowing right in my face. I was in mississippi for mobalization and the humidity sucked there hottest it got was 118 but the humidity was 98. I still have 140 to look forward to but I'd rather take this then the humidity. Man i want to go back to Minnesota.
  11. That's ridiculous! When will these ricer's ever learn. A guy I work with was looking at buying a floor bar "to stiffen the frame (unibody)" I told him that he's not rear driven and should worry more about body roll. He only plans on making 200hp at the crank.
  12. The amp rack I made was really easy to make. If you don't have the tools like I did, just ask somebody that has a brake, it might need to be a hydralic one depending on thickness and width. It took me about twenty minutes to make one. When I do it for my new truck I'l probably drill and tap my holes for the amp and come from the back side and tac them in place and use locking nuts even though not needed. There is plenty of airflow because the cab vents are on either side of the back wall. I think I'll paint it this time too and hide my wires so you'd have to take the seat out completly to see them. On my last truck you couldn't until you lifted the seat up and moved the box. I will post pictures when I get home, but until then, try it.
  13. Wooo Wooo Wooo, I mount my Amps to an amp rack i made from a sheet of 14 gauge sheet metal. I had it bent so the bottom was held in place by the seatbelt anchors and the top went all the way up to the back wall support where I used self tapping screws top hold it. This did not go through the cab. The metal rack acts like a heat sink also, I have never had my amps overheat. I have not done the seat folding trick but I plan to. Plus I dynomated the back of the cab and used small bolts to hold the amps up in place. You can paint the rack and make it look awesome but I didn't have time and nobody seen it anyway. I'll have to post pictures when I get home.
  14. Very Nice man. What type of cam are you going to run? I can't wait to scronge up enough change to get an supercharger myself. But for right now I will remain envious.
  15. Hey Guys I was wondering what I need to swap a 4L60-E from 4x4 to 2WD. I heard I need a 2WD output shaft and Tailshaft Housing. Does any body know where I can get these things, or a part number. Maybe a price? I'm sticking this thing in my 79 Trans Am when I switch out the Olds 403 for an LQ9 402, so rebuilding the trans is a must and wouldn't be a hastle. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.
  16. Do like I did and everyone else will tell you one this site, get a custom tune. They are better in every aspect of of a tune even the price. Try Charlie Wheatley at gowheatley.com. But as far as chips I like Doritos Cooler Ranch, mmmm good.
  17. Hey Buddy I'm in Iraq and we got trained on how to give those NPA's (Nasal Pharengiel Airway) or Bronched as you called it. We had to do it to each other and man does that suck I know how you feel literally. Just lucky you had to do it cause your sick not because you we're told to. Go Army.
  18. Yeah its like PCMforless but those guys are too genaric. I'd go with Zippy or like I did went with a tune from Charlie Wheatley. Those guys will get you the best tune and are cheap, not to mention they are awesome to talk to. Be sure to give them all your mods and things you want to get rid of like top speed and torque management.
  19. its really really not pratical.
  20. That's right only 02-03 are supercharged. All other Harley Trucks are pooches stock.
  21. Hey is it just me or is it whenever I clean my truck it fricking rains, or snows? I swear everytime I clean my truck within a day it comes down and I'm out there trying to get alll of the water spots off real quick.
  22. Dude once again the chrome is awesome! Where did you send those pieces to get plated? Is it expensive?
  23. Hey Guys, I'm over here in Iraq right now and can't wait to get home and enjoy the freedom that our fore fathers have fought for and we continue to this day defending.
  24. What body style? Hey Chase I see you on here you probably whooped an SRT-10.
