  1. I've got a black front lisence plate holder. I will be taking it off my truck this week. You can have it if you want. It'll just cost you shipping from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I bought my truck in the States so it had one, but here we don't use front plates so i am taking it off.
  2. I checked mine out today, and guess what...Yep, mines cracked also. Better bring it to the dealership while i got warranty
  3. I have bought a set before for my old 03 Tahoe on E-bay and was pretty disapointed of the light output. They look great and all, but wait till it rains and you drive down a back road with no street lights. The light output on those suck. I bought a Silverstar bulb for them too, and it improved it, but I was still disapointed. So I went and bought a HID kit. Well, that was a waste of money. Inside the projector housing it isn't all that reflective. It's more of a dull aluminum it seemed like. My buddy gave me an idea and I retro fitted a set of BMW M3 Projectors in with the factory HID from the BMW too. Wow, now that's what I was talking about. Go to I think it's called www.HIDplanet.com If you look in there, they will explain the whole E-bay projector thing there. Thought I'd share Looking good though
  4. Hahaha good kill But why press the trailoring button? Am I missing something?
  5. How about a 3.4"? Don't see it on the chart. I run about 5-6psi
  6. Yeah, I like the 2/4 look better. Rims look clean on the truck though
  7. Yeah, I thought a 5th wheel would work, but a TT works great with me too. This is my first truck so I don't know much about them. Learning as I go I guess.
  8. I personnaly like the 4300K. Plus there is less of a hassle withthe cops with them too. I don't know about the laws where you live, but here aftermarket HID's are illegal. But most cops won't bother you if you don't go way overboard with the color (K rating) Plus you get better Lumisent ( how ever you spell it ) with a 4300K than anyother kit. That is the color for all factory HID's
  9. I guess I'll just get a travel trailer and put ona brake controller and get a weight distributing hitch. Thanks for all the responses guys. greatly appreciated
  10. i know it's kind of hard to explain but this only happens sometimes. It sounds like the same growling noise when you're just creeping up with your brakes almost fully engaged let's say at a red light or something. But it ain't the brakes in my case. I get it when I am standing still and driving.
  11. The 5th wheel I found is 5500 dry and 7000GVW. My options are kind of between a 5th wheel and a 27' holiday trailer. I just figures the 5th wheel would be better, but if I had to get a tow behind I guess it would work too. As for the tires, they are stock so if GM rated the SS for 7500lbs, tires should be good.
  12. Hey I have a question. Weird thing is that this only happens sometimes. But you know the sound when you kinda have your brakes on but no, when you hold them just enough for your truck to inch forward and your truck makes that growling noise. Well sometimes I get that when the truck is just sitting there idling or driving. I dunno what it is. But it sounds identical to the growling with the brakes just slipping. Usually it will do it more when the truck is colder, but still does it when it warms up. Any ideas?
  13. Hey I was just wondering what have you all towed with your SSS. I have read that max towing for my 05 SSS is 7500lbs. Has anyone ever towed more? I was just thinking of getting a 5th wheel, but don't know how the truck with the supercharger would like it.
  14. Truck got ONSTAR? If yes, how much for the rearview mirror?
  15. Just wondering if it's ok to run the truck without all that being installed. The trucks tranny is stock right now, but comes with all those goodies.
  16. Yep, the first drive I get with it will be close to 3000miles. Way to spend time with me.
  17. I haven't picked it up yet, I am flying over this Saturday to take delivery.
  18. Hey I am pretty new on here. I just bought a 05 SS AWD with the Radix. Also this truck came with some other tranny mods. Trailblazer Torque converter Tru-Cool max 40,000 GVW transmission cooler Hughes Performance deep transmission pan Transgo HD2-C shift kit Transgo Zinc seperator plate Sonnax billet "Super Hold" 2nd servo Sonnax billet "Super Hold" 4th servo Sonnax kevlar band FLT 3-4 clutch pack Metal accumulator piston I have searched the forum and most of these parts you guys recommend. Is there anything else I should do with the tranny? Or will this be enough for the tranny to last me a couple of years trouble free. So far the truck/tranny only has about 12,000miles on it with the radix being installed about 1,000 miles ago. Any help would be great.
  19. Chop it. I chopped one of my old cars. Looked awesome.
  20. Ohh, I should add, she turned left infront of me so that is why it is her fault.
  21. ^ 80 zone (km/h) I live in Canada. You must be thinking miles/hour. I'd be dead I think
