damn, Id gladly pay $200 to get it painted

I know someone here has got theirs painted before, so how much did it cost you? Ive called a few places and got quotes from $300 up to $600. I also talked to the auto shop here on base and they quoted me $188 just for the quart of black paint and the other crap they need to do it (reducer, epoxy primer, clearcoat...). Last month the same guy said it would cost like $60 for the materials, now it magically costs almost $200... The one I have in in perfect shape, its blue and I need it black. So how much should it cost for a well done job? Its a snugtop here it is:

My boot caught on mine when I was getting out one day and snapped it. Is anyone parting out a truck that has this piece? Also does anybody know of a good way to fix this tear in the leather on my seat? I dont have money for new seat covers right now. Thanks

I was in Temecula the other weekend and I saw this chillin in a parking spot, Id say it was a show car but it looked like the guy drove it a good bit. Its definitely the baddest new Camaro Ive seen in person so far.

does anyone have a pic of them actually installed or stuck on the emblems? I just dont see how it could possibly look good when you will still see the sides of the letters since they stick out. I took mine off and painted them but they are chipping now and I need to do something to fix it. It was a big PITA to take em off, clean the crap off my truck and re stick them on with new double sided tape that I had to buy

I really dont want to sell my truck but I dont make enough money and its not practical for me anymore. Im gonna be getting married soon and I decided I need to get rid of it before I sink more money into it. Its an 03 AWD, just turned 100K miles and its in great condition, no major problems at all, just a few small cosmetic things that are normal for a 7 year old truck. I have taken great care of it ever since I bought it in 07, and it got lots of maintenance done when I worked at a Chevy dealer as a tech.
