A degree in anything wether it be a Associates or a Bachelors will help even if the job isnt what you have the degree in. To the OP. Its normal to now know what you want to do Im 31 and up until 2 years I was going from job to job. I have done everything from cutting grass, construction, retail, sales, drywall, etc and 2 years ago became a firefighter. Honestly I would do what makes you happy now, and if you want a change you have the education to move forward. Whatever makes you happy now, do that unless you find something else that your hearts in.

Its not vinyl. its like a hard plastic. I was in Oreilys today when another silverado owner saw the dash kit I have. O reilys has the same dash kit in there book. Im not sure if there book has everything I have, but there was the silver brushed aluminum style, wood grain etc. I also have the console trim. It had to grow on me, but now I dont mind it.

Its ok for now until it gets polished. You can see the owner didnt care. The delear installed those which was a $1,500 option. The trim looks like brused aluminum, it looks better in person. The wheel is a plastic silver overlay that is built on the wheel itself.

When I think quality, to me that means almost perfect. To do the whole truck considering all the door jambs are taped off and blended, and the inside of the bed isnt done. Atleast 6 Grand. I had my camaro painted jambs and all and had some fiberglass work done on my custom hood and added a custom painted stripe, and paid $5,500. A truck is alot larger. If you have the ability to either remove panels yourself and or start the scuffing yourself you will save alot of labor. The Bodyshop will re use the original paint as your primer. If you can do either or both, while scuffing the paint, circle any dents or imperfections with a marker so the shop knows what they have to pay attention to. My guess would be in the $8,000 range for it to be flawless at a really good bodyshop. If you had Black it would be more as it shows everything.

You stole that car..... I would have no doubt its a mid 9 sec car. I have a 01 Z06 that has a D1 on 12 PSI, full exhaust, and a cam, and the best my car has went was 10.04 at 136 with a 1.8 60 ft. That car will fly. Just be careful, I can break my street tires loose at 120, you could probably do that at 140Mph. Here's mine. I dont have a Built Motor yet .

I had to take the satin wheels off as the tires were so badly rotted, I ended up blowing the left front on the way home. I put my Chrome ones on until I get the satin ones powder coated black. The cool thing is while I was taking the wheels off, I noticed the factory etching and markings on the brakes showing they have never been off. I even still have the factory paper sticker on the frame. The pics are form my phone as my cameras battery died and is charging. You may see in some of the pics, how the paint looks dull. Thats after running it threw a do it yourself wash and a high pressure wash. The paint needs a little love.

I have no idea. He bought it brand new and just never drove it. The last few years he only drove it 2 thousand miles. The last 2 years it was parked and never moved. He sold it since he never drove it. The nice thing was he cared enough to keep all the service records of every oil change, the type, weight, miles and month and day of oil changes, tires rotations and brake records from GM when they would check the brake system. I myself cant let a vehicle sit, my old 04 had 141,000 on it.

After looking at dozens of Sss's, I finally found the one that was in better shape than mine after over a month of looking. I had to drive 8 hours to get it but it was worth it. Its an 03 SSS, with only 21,358 miles. It still has the original brakes, wipers etc. The owner didnt really take care of it, It sat for 2 years in a barn. There are a couple of small imperfections in the paint for neglet but nothing a high speed cant take care of. Otherwise the tires are shot, the brakes need to be replaced as they rusted and pitted up, the leather bed cover is starting to crack. Otherwise its in mint condtion inside and out. I got it for $18,000. Ill get pics up in a few days when its warm enough to wash it and clean it up.

Sorry to hear... A few years back when I was seling my sisters car for her a guy from another state came to buy it. He was supposed to take the car from my parents house and leave. Instead he wanted me to drive it toward my house so he could be closer to home. He was nervous since the car was in a accident and didnt have a fender or the passenger headlight. I drove the car, and as im on the highway he keeps flashing for me to pull over and calls my phone. He wanted to meet me in the ghetto of Rockford at one of his buddies houses to take the car and then give me a ride back home. I made up a story and just said will meet at my house and you can take the car. I race to my house to ge there first to get my gun as I was already spooked. He pulled up and handed me my money, as another car with his buddies pulled up in front of my house. I pulled the gun, thinking they were going to rob me and take the car and title with them. As I pulled the gun his buddies got back in there car and I told the guy the deal is done, and to leave otherwise I will shoot you. Luckily they all left. A few months later I get a phone call from the cops asking me about the guy. I guess he pulled the same thing with someone else and got the car, his money back and the title, and the seller got beat up pretty bad. I dont trust anyone after that, Its sad the way the world works. Atleast your safe. It sucks that the blower is gone, but it could have been much worse.

That sounds like U joints. Thats an easy fix. Depending on miles on it, it wouldnt be a bad idea to replace them. To check them Place the vehicle in gear and apply the parking brake. Raise the vehicle on a car lift or jack stands. Use a pry bar to gently pry the universal joint against the yoke of the drive shaft. While there may be some movement in the transaxle, there should be no acceptable and noticeable movement in the universal-joint-to-yoke connection. If there is, this is a physical and visible indication that the universal joint has gone bad.

I know how you feel, I had this scare with my mom 2 years ago. Hope things go good and the doctors let him go home with out anything serious. He wil be in my prayers.

I dont think it makes a differnce as the blower motor resistors do that same thing with either climate control. Parts store will this available as well, most carry a lifetime gurantee, Im not sure the dealers warranty is that long.

I have the Pioneer AV P4300 DVD and love it. I got it off Amazon for $350 last month. It has the 7" screen your looking for and tons of options. For the price its one hell of a deck. I wasnt about to spend $800 to a grand on one.

It sounds like the grommet is bad. I had to replace my pump to get the grommet.

Im off work for another month, it turns out my symptoms are still from the concussion. Hopefully they subside enough foe me to go back to work after I see him again next month.

Thanks, I hope so too. What really bothers me is that i dont even remember what it feels like to be myself. Hopefully the Dr can shed some light and get me back to myself. I am lucky though, The dr I am seeing who is checking out my back said from my injuries and speed of the accident, Im lucky I dont have a broken back. Things could always be worse is how I look at it.

Your best bet for the best light output is 6000K. It has some blue tint but will give you the most light output. Otherwise 8000K is the next up with more blue and less light output. Brand all depends. Just because they are expensive doesnt make them the best. Alot of guys here use the DDM kits. I would suggest goin with the same bulbs for the fogs otherwise go with the 3000K I believe they are yellow and actually work as fog lights.

I finally got my insurance check from my accident a month ago. I had a lawyer fighting for me to try and get this whole property damage settled up for me. That didnt go to well. Out of the calls he made to the insurance, not one thing he did made a difference. The insurance wanted me to pay for all the items broken with my truck... Those are as follows. One chrome center from GM 4 Strobe light heads and 4 15foot of cable for them The cost of my emergency lights re installed The cost of my lights to be removed The radio installation kit The reinstall cost of my radio One light head mount. All of that totals to $754.17 The insurance wanted me to pay for all of it again, and show reciepts that I bought it and had it all installed before they would pay that back to me. Im not rich and have to pay out of pocket several grand to buy the truck I want. It woud be quite some time before I could do all of that. Plus my Emergency lights are kind of important. I called the insurance myself, and after 20 minutes I got them to give me a check for the total cost for everything so I could replace it all at once. The lawyer couldnt even do that. Plus Im going to get my truck this weekend in Ohio. Thats the upside. The downside is Im still seeing all types of doctors to try and figure out what going on with me. I still have dizzyness,nausea, cant remeber things i just said or did, extreme back and neck pain. I just found out that My entre spine is bruised. Normally a healthy spine has 4 natural bends in it, the top bend near my neck is now straight and the lower spine is straight instead of having that curve to it. I have pinched nerves from bottom to top. According to the DR level 4 muscle spasms to the point where my muscle sticks out of my skin in spazams.. I have Physical therapy that I was supposed to start today and couldt do to the pain, headaches and nausea. No to mention I still cant work, drive, lift or carry anything I have to see a Nuerologist tomorrow. My main concern at this point is my future with the Fire Department. Hopefully things start getting better as Im one step closer to getting my truck and putting all of this behind me.
