  2. The following items are forsale from my twin kit they have little to 0 miles on them. Nothing im selling has anything wrong with them. Everything is OBO. Please no silly or stupid remarks on my thread. Thanks everyone for looking.

1-Hpm(danny tranny) 4l65e 2WD /w Yank SC3000. condition=excelent (2000$)+ shipping If i have to separate It will be 1750 for tranny and 650 for the Yank

This unit has 7k on it. The tranny works and shifts flawless. If you need to talk to the builder i can get you his number. I dont want to separate the Yank SC3000 from the sale. The Converter still has the free restall from yank if you want it different. this is the billet cover 1000$ converter. Shipping is about 150 on the tranny and 45 on the verter.

  3. Im so glad you ditched the 370 plan and stepped up to the big boy club!! Awesome and welcome lol...

Thing should be a beast, like I said on the phone, do it right the first time, even if it takes a year or more... dont half ass it!

    :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

do I see a future HP cover truck in the works?? Time will tell...

    congrats bro

thanks dave means alot to me man

  4. OK to understand me Ive never been one to half ass things especially when it comes to my truck. My delema was i wanted some good power from these twins and still have a streetable show truck. I lifted a head on my Lq4 and after i tore it down i desided to build a iron block 370. I got with my local guy and priced out a long block and i was pleased with what i was getting. I was about to purchase the 370 when by happenstance i stumbled on a short block for sale . Many of you know of Kurt Urban perfromance and his turbo builds. I bought Mark Koehlers LSX 447 short block and im gonna build the twins on top of it. Ill be using Trick flow 245s with the same Harlon sharp rockers and the edelbrock proflow i already have. Im not going to give away all the details of the build but I will update as it gets done. Here are some pics of the car it came out of and pics of the short block. Mark told me on the phone that it made nearly 2k Horses. This car went 7.63 @189 with the LSX block. Mark is a stand up guy and has a sweet F body

This is the same setup ill be going with on heads and rockers along with the girdle

    in-car-1.jpg

This is the short block i purchased Its a LSX 447ci bored over to 4.155, for the set of Diamond pistons. The Rods are Howards I beam and the crank is a Callies Compstar 4.125 stroke. Every thing hase arp and also it comes with 1/2 inch arp head studs. Im very excited about this motor and i know it will make good power my goal is 4 digits on pump gas and meth.

My 4L65e and Yank is up for sale. Ill be running a HPM 4L80e with billet input and intermediate shafts and behind that a DBRODS 4 link w/ 9 inch. I also am having Jon build me a fuel cell so i can get rid of the surge setup.

Be patient with me on this cause im gonna spend alittle extra and do it right.

  5. but I guess we're smarter because we dont live in areas where we have to worry about that, or tornado's or dust storms, etc...

sure we have earthquakes, once every ten years or so, big deal lol at least I dont have to worry about driving on ice while a tornado comes and picks me up and drops me on a wicked witch in a land of little people lol

    :jester:

we would rather deal with dangerous weather than all the homos baaahhahahahahahah

  6. its actually a skid pan at the sheriff's EVOC center... the track is polished cement and they flood it with water, simulates driving on ice, they use it for training purposes, but makes for good photoshoots so the rent it out to magazines regularly.

lol you so cal people dont know what its like to drive on ice. especially if they use unfozen water to simulate lol :jest:

  7. My take on it is If you get long tubes your going to be basically redoing you whole exhuast. That being the case get the pacesetter and some high flowing cats have the exhaust shop weld in 02 bungs and the muffler of your choice and you should be legal for emmitions. Yes you will spend alittle but its worth it. I dont have to deal with it here we dont have inspections

  8. -drunk bitches that talk to loud

    -edelbrock intake installs

    -my wifes driving

    -Bob

    -people that chew ice

    -clutter

    -a ricer attitude

-rattling trunks due to having way to much bass

-when idiots stand in doorways on ModernWarfare 2

-stuff on my dash or console

there are a few more but this stuff gets under my skin

  9. I used these to mock up a fuel system on the stock manifold. I have the proflow now. They have brackets i made so they mount up to the truck manifold with truck style injectors. I may still have the brackets that come with them im not sure. Theses rails have less than 200 miles on them and are in excelent shape. They have black -6 fittings as well 160$ shipped

  10. no matter what people say Black is faster and 2wd is faster with the right rubber. Its not a matter of preference its a matter of physics. 2wd has less power train loss and would pull on the big end. Now if the 2wd didnt hook the win would go to AWD. Like i said identicle motor and weight trucks one 2wd one awd the 2wd with slicks will win. let the flames begin

  11. :withstupid: and my trans was the next one on the bench, the Alto wide red band was installed at my recommendation. I am very sure that mine is the only HPM 4L60 built in the last year that has the Alto wide red band rather than the carbon-impregnated one; that might be the confusion. After we hit it with 10psi we might have to go carbon anyways!

    Mr. P.

Nope im wrong i have the carbon band. My first build had the alto red band. I love the carbon band there is absolutey no slippage. FWIW the first build was good it was the pos yank tt converter that took a crap
