Well I know your trying to find everything you can. If you can't get the fuel fittings from napa, I order this for my honda taspro fuel pressure gauge If you scroll down you will see it. Granted it is for a honda but you can call them and ask for Justin, he could tell you the fittings they used and the deliver pretty quickly also. Hope you get it worked out.

Is it possible that you have a vaccum leak? I know I had one in my honda before although it was an import and I had to power what so ever. That and my idle was jumping all over the place. Or maybe a bad coil pack?

New Spark Plug Boots Installed But..
96vteccd5 replied to 96vteccd5's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
FYI.. here are the pics : I ran my finger down the boots and there is maybe less then 1/4 of an inch of space. -
OK fellas, my taylor thunder volt wires were touching the long tube headers so I ordered a set of these: They work great but my only concern is that the spark plug cylinder protectors where in the way so I had them removed. These boots now cover the whole spark plug all the way down to the head but I was wondering do you guys think I should just suck it up and order a set of thunder volts 409 wires and reinstall the spark plug cylinder protectors?

Whats Your Choice of LT Headers Poll
96vteccd5 replied to CaliChevyV8's topic in Bolt On Performance
I would like to add LPP headers -
I must say the truck sounds great without the high flow cats but I don't feel like having the cops mess with me in the MD area. Just gonna throw them on.

Here is where I order my high flow cats. Great price, fast shipping, excellent items! DependOnAuto

Lpp Headers Installed (thanks Wheatley For The Tune)!
96vteccd5 replied to 96vteccd5's topic in Bolt On Performance
I will say one thing though. My gas mileage is interesting. On the highway it runs from around 20.7 to 21.3 mpg but when I get on the gas it starts to drop. If I punch, I can easily see 15 mpg. -
Lpp Headers Installed (thanks Wheatley For The Tune)!
96vteccd5 replied to 96vteccd5's topic in Bolt On Performance
Well i just ordered 45 degree boot connectors for the wires so I will just take those off and crimp the new ones on. That should take care of it. If not I will order some MSD wires later on. Thanks for the info about the headers. I might have to dynomat the inside of the truck to at least quite it down some if the high flow cats don't help. -
sounds awesome brotha

Well here you go fellas. The videos will come later on this week. I must say these headers are ON POINT!!! As you can see I used the GM head studs and bolts, new oem gaskets, and used band clamps with the rtv sealant. Also dropped in some new spark plugs. Once I drove back from the shop the truck drove kind of funny but idle fine. I slapped in the wheatley tune and it has been getting better and better by the day. The mid-range and upper rpm range gain is extremely noticeable. Thank you Wheatley for the tune again. I went by an exhaust shop and the guys said whoever tuned it had it spot on. It didn't smell like gas but had the right A/F! I only have 2 concerns. The first is the cabin noise. After first when driving the truck I felt like I was hearing an exhaust leak but after going to 2 shops and showing them the install there are no leaks. They said it is the headers I am hearing. I still plan to throw some high flow cats on which I pray will take away all most of the cabin noise. The 2nd is that the taylor wires are rubbing on the headers ( 4 out of 8) so I just bought there 45 degree boot kit which should take care of this. I say these headers are spot on and the install went smoothly. I pb blasted the bolts for 3 days so they came right out! I highly recommend these headers and thanks again wheatley!! Vids will be coming in a few days. before and after.

Will do. I am getting them installed next week and waiting for the retune to come back from wheatley

Update I got the AC to work!! They have a GM tech over at GM-trucks and he helped me out big time. Here is the link. Ac working after removal of negative cable.
-
If you have it on hand I would greatly appreciate it. My truck is an 05 so it is out of warrenty so I know I will have to drop a lot of coin to get it fixed.
-
Is there any way to reset my a/c settings?

If I get a lift, I would go with these guys. I see them around all over the place. http://eagleequip.com/Merchant2/merchant.m...ategory_Code=LI
