considering your from Michigan you would probably want an AWD one. ive had mine for 7 years and its been through 2 different superchargers, about 100-1501/4 mile passes with a few AWD burnouts and has absolutely not problems except the transmission. i think its understandable to say why the stock transmission went. you would not be getting a fuel efficient car if you get one of these expect an average of 14~ mpg. you can find these trucks for a decent price it just depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. 15k could get you a decent mileage stock or near stock SS. also... everyone here is talking about mods. you dont HAVE to mod the truck extensively to make it fun/quik.an exhaust and tune will go far for someone just looking for a fun DD. ive gone fast and i can tell you it costs lots of money. i recently put my truck back to near stock for the sheer fun and enjoyment that it lost.

i wouldnt bother. you can find NNBS trucks for that price. 20k for a now 2 generation old truck thats basically base model thats insane. id offer him 15k on a good day

will (boosted silverado) has done it in his rcsb. its definitely possible. you have to take into consideration the weight difference in our trucks vs corvettes. it does play a role in the clutch and transmission longevity

if your looking for the best budget header you cant beat OBX. Full stainless steel 1 3/4 with mid pipes for in the 400s. they are basically the old style dynatechs

im selling my siemens deka #60 tall style injectors. ive had them for about 4 years now with probably 25-30k on them. they work great ive never had any issues with them. they come with the pig tails and spacers. 175$ shipped. my underseat storage box that i bought with the truck. its been out of the truck for atleast 5-6 years in my garage. 100$ + shipping.

once every spring with m1 5-30 here. i havent seen the oil life monitor come on in the SS in 2 years lol. the oil life monitor usually goes off between 5-6k on my tahoe. if you drive normal and you use synthetic i dont see why you cant go atleast 6000 between changes. i go 7000 sometimes on my tahoe.
