  1. this was i think saturday night evening or maybe friday. i was in my gfs car i saw a red SSS getting off onto forest ave it looked pretty clean and then saw a silver burch with aftermarket tail lights on rt4 west heading towards Garden state. i was amazed to see 2 SSS's within 10 seconds llol. probably the first ive seen in a few months
  2. welcome to the site. awesome truck i would lose the running boards tho
  3. yes i have investigators all over me right now
  4. i deleted my FB a few weeks ago for job reasons. before i did that page was full of crap i rarely even posted in it
  5. hey john good to see you back around here!! 6l85?? im curious to know how that works out ill be following your updates
  6. so many finger prints on the chrome under the hood you should really polish those off. the add is wrong its not a little magnacharger on that truck either. at one point that was one of the cleanest silverado SS's on this site to bad it didnt stay that way. poor brian probably cant stand to see it like that
  7. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2014/04/2015-chevrolet-ss-getting-manual-transmission-magnetic-shocks.html looks like its actually gonna happen! with magnetic ride!
  8. haha i actually took my truck to prom also in 08. good memories. all the pics are on one of my old phones tho . good pics tho congrats to you
  9. oh yea? i never knew that. thanks zippy as usual you the man
  10. thanks but i have the brackets FAST gave me with the rails. my issue is with the spacers i made up. i wish they would make them for people who run tall injectors lol
  11. By any chance do you know if the ones giving him issue were to tall or to short?
  12. yea i made mine myself which could be the issue. i used the old ones i had on my magnacharger as a base to make the new ones. i believe that they could be to short as i stated above. im going to tinker with them and see what happens. thanks for the info now i really think thats the issue
  13. no they are not homemade. they are the ones FAST gave me with the fuel rails
  14. yes i agree. its either that or the spacers are to short and i feel they are over tightening the injectors. i hope i only have to do this once more time its annoying lol
  15. they dont leak when you prime it ive checked numerous times. they dont leak while driving either. they just somehow mist or spray fuel out of the bottom at WOT. i havent changed the O rings since i had them. they were on my magnacharger for a good 20k and never had an issue. i havent noticed it being hard to seat them in the intake they just seem to sit in there. the spacers dont hit anything there just a few stacked up washers under the bracket for the FAST rail. you can actually see one in the second pic. i guess at this point im just gonna take them out and inspect them thoroughly and re-install.
  16. yea i put vaseline on the top O rings when i sat them in the rail. the issue is coming from the bottom where they seat in the. yes i agree its definitely a seating issue i dont believe all 4 O rings could be damaged. my real question at this point is whether they are to tight or to lose. im leaning towards the spacer is to short and they are over tightened down. i guess its time to go play with it again lol. thanks for the help
  17. ive seen at sat in one its an awesome car. honestly i was a big fan of the car before it was even built. when i saw the concept i was happy to see GM is still acknowledging the sport sedan and actually building a v8 rwd car. if we didnt have so much snow i would honestly consider trading my tahoe in. i hope they offer a manual version next year like the rumors say tho
  18. ok so over the past month ive noticed these brown stains along side of my fast 102 and a noticeable smell of fuel in the cab only at WOT. at first i thought the spacers for my injectors that i made were to tall so i went and shortened them. the passenger side seemed to stop but the driver side is still the same. i was thinking maybe an O ring but i dont think all 4 O rings on the same side of the fuel rail would all be bad at the same time. now maybe the spacers are to short? idk i dont want to keep pulling the fuel rail apart for guess work. the injectors are the tall #60 siemens deka ones that require spacers and they are in FAST fuel rails. any advice or help would be appreciated and very helpful ive uploaded some pics the stains are much more pronounced and visible in person.
  19. 2007 tahoe LTZ. the wheels are now black
  20. about the instruction manual i called up procharger and asked to speak with a tech because i couldnt find the manual online. the guy emailed me the exact manual for my truck and year. the install is pretty strait forward. the hardest part was mounting the inter cooler and running the pipes
  21. i have a aftermarket 31' intercooler its huge none of the piping matched or anything. i ordered all new aluminum piping and silicone couplers from frozenboost.com. i also highly recommend you use the T-bolt clamps so none of it blows apart. you can see where mine sticks down in my signature pic
  22. ive had my rig for 7 years. this place started losing traffic i would say 3 years ago and its just been going down and down. as others said these trucks are getting older and most of the older members have moved on to different things. the crowd of people is changing and the trucks are getting older and losing interest.
