  1. Here's my pick in order: Wheel Choice 3: American Racing Torq Thrust D Chrome Wheel Choice 2: Cragar s/s supersport Wheel Choice 1:: Cragar 500 Eliminator chrome But my all time favorite wheel on the 68-70 Charger is the factory wheel: Magnum 500's
  2. , I don't think Stewart meant for him to cut them up either with all the " " icons in his post.
  3. Factory service manual says: "Install the platform hitch bolts to the frame rails and the rear bumper. Tighten the bolts to 125 N·m (92 lb ft)." Also, if you don't have the original bolts, make sure you get the correct grade of bolts.
  4. TBSS's are nice, I've tried to talk the wife into trading her Impala for one, but no luck. Sounds like you found a good one.
  5. Nice kids, probably cheaper than the 2 legged kind too!
  6. If I do a security system on my SS I'm not posting what I did on any website. Being a "Member" doesn't weed out the crooks, only takes about 1 min to become a "Member". Josh & Zane don't do criminal history and background checks on new members.
  7. Glad to hear that Justin! A successful marriage is the hardest job a person will have, you have to be constantly working at it.
  8. Was always going to have the Rally Stripe painted on but never got around to it.
  9. Welcome! Can we assume you now own a SS?
  10. Was rummaging through some old pictures and came across these pic's, thought I'd share...sorry for the crappy pic's these were scanned in. This is the last Camaro I owned, it's a 67 SS/RS with the L48 295hp 350 & 4spd Muncie Transmission. As I bought it: Same Camaro on the day I sold it. And this was my 1980 Z-28 Camaro, 350 4spd, T-tops. The young lady standing next to it is still my lovely bride of 28 years.
  11. I'm with Springer...exotics don't get a second look from me. But if I were to see a 67 Z-28, or a 68 L88 Corvette or 62 Bel Air 409 Bubble Top, etc, etc, etc. the owners would tell me to leave because of all the drool I was getting on them!
  12. "Miss March" isn't just a beauty queen...she works too! She's loaded with 620 lbs of garbage waiting for the dump to open.

He doesn't come on here very often. His website doesn't have a shopping cart, you order via his email address: [email protected] and tell him what you want.
  14. When someone writes up a "How To" procedure they usually add picture(s) to illustrate what they are doing and talking about. Unfortunately a lot of writers are linking their picture(s) to some other website that hosts them and if they should do any house cleaning on that website they may inadvertently move/delete the picture(s) and therefore break the link to it in the "How To". A good example of missing picture(s) is TurbochargedBerserker's "How To Change Your Brake Pads, step-by-step, illustrated" thread. My question is this; Is there a way for the SSS.com to take ownership of those picture(s) and somehow "lock" them to the "How To" thread? Maybe have all the "How To's" submitted to a Admin/Mod and they move it and all associated picture(s) to the "How To" or "Wiki" sections where only a Admin/Mod have the ability to modify/delete it.
  15. Nice looking dog, how old is she?
  16. Please everyone, a moment of silence for the brave mouse! He could have left a family of mices in the vents, who's gonna feed them now!
  17. Don't know how hard or if it's even possible, but would your friend be able to turn the ISS spoiler into a 1 pc design rather than having end pieces that need brackets and holes drilled in the bed for, similar to the RST & Joe Gibbs spoilers. Just a though...
  18. I haven't noticed a slow down in the load time, but I'm old and slow too so I probably wouldn't! I think they have it in place so they don't have to police the site so much. You can't count on everyone to post reasonable size photos, I've seen some forums where people have posted pics that were around 4000 pix wide and the site didn't automatically resize them....major horizontal scrolling required to read that thread.
  19. I've never seen the option to be able to do that, why do you want to turn it off? I use photobucket and when I post a pic here it reduces them in size but when I click on them they display in full size.
  20. Yup there's still a few of us 'Ole Timers' here, good to see you back Mark.
  21. Here's a pic of a flat black wheel on Caswell Inc's web site.
