New Edelbrock Pro-flo Xt Intake Manifold
IndySilveradoSS replied to renta's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
i think it looks killer, but is fi the only application where you'll see gains. I'd love to put one on mine, but i don't know if i'd be shooting myself in the foot by adding hp+tq with a cam, and then lose the gains with the new intake. -

New Edelbrock Pro-flo Xt Intake Manifold

so from what i'm reading and gathering, these aren't the best choice for a stock or near stock 6.0l. it sound slike all the hp/tq is built well up in the rpm range. I'd like to hear from someone who has done this on a near stock motor to see what the "real-world" gains are as opposed to edelbrocks views. I'm def interested if this nets me more low end tq where i can use it, i don't know about you guys, but my truck doesn't see past 6k's for very long. -
camaro-origianl 396 SS, 4sp, now has a 468, very few big block cars with that shade of blue, the owners going with the "pro-touring" look in the winter including a 4l80E, nice car!!

"special deal" that offers no warranty? sound like it fell off the back of a truck..lol, but a good deal none-the-less
