  1. since were posting possible projects, here's one I came across, i don't really need another project, i can barely afford the one i've got , but this might be too good of a deal to pass up. the pics look crappy, but the owner told me the only rust is around the wheel wells on the rear, and a little floor work, but i'm thinking...metallic silver with a black cowl hood, 17" torq-thrusts, a 6.0l and 6 spd, and ac. I would have to sit on this one for a while and save up, i've got some things to get paid off, but it would be cool sitting int the garage..primered of course.lol
  2. i'm excited, i just got my rear brackets today, so i'm ready for the fronts
  3. sorry for the delay everyone.. been lazy as hell! anyway, i did a how-to with schematics and pics, so hopefully it'll halp anyone who wants to do this mod, it's really pretty easy. My main problem was getting the extension for the brackets to fit right (i'm no fabricator, and patience is something i really don't have..lol) how to will be up by end of day
  4. i did mine through the firewall next to the brake pedal, from inside, i drilled a hole and used a grommet, it comes out low on the fire wall, and not real noticeable
  5. dude, if ur gonna post in the how to, then post a how to, other wise find a different section.
  6. he's going to make a rad. cover, relay center box and cover and some other misc. carbon pieces, thining about having him do the dash trims, idk, i love the carbon for the race car feel, but i don't want so muchh it looks ricer. it all depends on price really.
  7. i like that hood also, but i don't think he'd appreciate someone copying it..lol
  8. dude, mine turns 1 on saturday, all i can say is that it goes by quickly. It's awesome to do stuff like that for ur kids. hell, we got ours one of the plastice coupes with the tall roof, so we decided to flame it..lol a power wheel is next.
  9. i pm'd him yesterday, and have not heard back, hmmmm, makes u wonder
  10. s a f e on a personal side note, i don't care for politics on the truck forum, i get on here to read about and conversate trucks, because you know what they say, opinions are like cornholes, everyone has one. 93 to 1000!!
  11. Thanks to all the Past, Present, and Future Military, without you, this would not be possible Freedom isn't free..
  12. i'm glad i live in indiana, they really don't get too picky, the neighbors don't like my new exhaust, but they will after headers and no cats
  13. could just do dinner and beer at cheeseburger in paradise or something, maybe they'd set a few spots aside for us?
  14. mr. p, pm me and let me know what your "secret features" are, i'll keep them b/t the two of us, so i know what to tell the carbon guy. also, i'll be using my truck for fitment, so it sshould be damn close to what everyone else has providing no accidents or anything, that's hard to account for on a custom piece. Again, these guys make carbon for Indycars, so it's good quality fiber.
  15. got mine of march 08, got screwed on the loan, owe a cool 19K..i decided instead of modding the shit out of her, i'm gonna get a cheap dd and pay the bitch off early.
  16. looks like we'll party till the cops show up...lol j/k bro
  17. i agree, that's why i was trying to guage interest, so i've got some general numbers to tell the guy about. I'm thinking they would fit better than fiberglass as well, not be as flimsy. i'll keep ya updated, keep the feedback coming.
  18. i sat in carb day traffic friday at indy, it was hot, i wish i'd of known about the damn belt then... not to mention, the chicks in the car got all sweaty
