  1. I dont know but its weird how the "SS" is on the wrong side on the tailgate

    LOL! Good Eye.

They could of screwed up editing the photo's. I save one of the pic's and did a simple flip in a photo editor and it put it on the proper side.

If you go look at the SS just check and see if the "SS" on the tailgate is on the "Left" side or the same side as the gas tanks.

    Funny!

Oh and, No I don't know anything about that truck either.

    Good Luck!

  2. I've mostly used Nikon in the past. Just point and shoot cam's nothing fancy. My daughter got herself a new Nikon and it didn't take pictures well. Pictures always seemed to be too red and blurry/hazy shots. Could of been a setting somewhere, Took it back and got this Canon. I liked it so much that I went and got one too LMAO...

    Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS

  3. I hear ya. We moved here from Cali about 20 years ago and this was the first one we all have seen, It was mesmerizing for sure.

I'll still take an Earthquake over a Tornado. Cant see them coming, They just happen BAM!

But then again. This one was sorta like that. Nothing as far as watches on the TV or Radio at the time. I spotted it out the widow then a few seconds later the siren's went off.

I'm surprised you haven't seen any. Your in KS no? they always seem to have them.

  4. yeah!!!! remove the bracket and bolt the bump stop directly to he frame, that would give you about 11/2 inches more of clearance ......

    :withstupid:

YES do so. It will be a very noticeable difference.....

If your still not pleased with it, Trim off one of the nubs on the bumpstops then you can hit the dips as you wish LOL

Good luck. Let us know the outcome.

  5. Welcome Crystal

Sounds like you really love your truck. That's awesome!

As far as Cali events. It seems most of them are in SoCal but I know there are a few members from the SF area but I've never noticed any meets for that area posted. Hmmm

I'm sure there has to be something going on in your area. If not post up a possible meet for your area and see who bites :)

  6. I looked up the wheels you have in your sig. (Boss 332 22x9.5)

    Those come in 2 offsets.

    +14 and +30

I'm willing to bet you have the +14 offset which would make your wheels stick out further which explains why your wheel well is hitting the tire.

As for the "Bottoming Out" do you have the bump stop bracket removed and the stop bolted directly to the frame? That will give you more travel but that might not be a good thing if your hitting your tire. Hmmm

  7. my wheels are 22 x 9.5 and the tiress are the Nitto 420's which are 285/40/22

I was just asking if people with a 2/3 drop and 22' wheels could measure the fender heigth from the ground to get an aveerage Ideal of what it should be. So that way I know that my truck is a n actual 2/3 drop and not a 2/4 or 2/5 like most think that it is right now. I know the leavf springs settled a bit after the installation where the weight had been taken off them during install.  So I know that accunts for a bit of it.  I think when I measured last the rear sat at 31 something.

I was at a 4" drop but raised it to 3" due to bottoming out easily.

Is the rear done with hangers and shackles or leafs?

I'm at 32.75" at 4 corners atm. (½" torsion drop up front, Crank Down)

I asked via PM other members in the past what they were set at and here's what I got.

    32.5" Front - 33" Rear

    31.5" Front - 32.75" Rear

31" Front - 31" Rear (adjusted them and ended up with 32.75" Front - 33" Rear) I forget why, perhaps due to rubbing.

    That should cover "Avg"

You might have an "Offset Issue" Do you know what your wheel offset is?

    Hope this info helped you.
