  1. I have the same spindles and last year when I put the winter non directional tires back on I crossed them. (Right rear - Left front etc..) I had a pulling issue. I put them back to the same side and the problem when away. I agree that it could be tire related.

Hmm but isn't the Nitto 420's directional?

Only other issue I had with the belltech was that the camber was able to be set within spec but it was maxed out.

  2. Congrats on the lowering Lower is nice and it does look sweet.

I don't know why but to me the rear don't look to be 4" hmmmm

I was at a 4" drop but raised it to 3" and mine seems lower then the posted picture. (Wheel Well Gap Smaller)

Is the rear done with hangers and shackles or leafs?

Whats the wheel well measure from the ground?

I'm at 32 3/4" at 4 corners atm. (½" torsion drop up front, Crank Down)

  3. Friend at work resets his DIC "Oil Life" once then on the next one he'll do a change. He's got a 2003 Silverado 2500 6.0 and 90% of the time is towing 2 Gravely industrial lawn mowers. Yes after his 10 hours of work is done where I work he mows until sundown.

Anyway he hasn't had any problems except for the ever so popular intake manifold gasket leak and I doubt that was caused by his interval of oil changes.

As for me. I don't do any towing so I'm going to try this or change it when I hit 1 year. I doubt I'd hit two "Oil Life" cycles in a year due to I only drive about 5K a year :driving:

  4. ok just got the bell tech drop kit, ordering the street performer shocks then will have it installed will i need any other parts? shim kit? etc.? ok thanks for the info

You should be good to go. You won't know if you'll need shims until after it's installed.

You will most likely need to remove the rear bumpstop bracket and mount them right to the frame as well as trim your bumpstops or get shorter ones.

wow no one here either ok next stop is gm trucks

All your questions should have an answer in the post right above this one.

Collection of Lowering Notes and Best Practices

Good Luck. Post Pic's when it's done.. Before and After :)

  5. I did a search and found this.

"$5,000 per cat removed, no more than $10,000 total fine. You'll probably never see your car again either."

Here's the source I found it on.

    ~*Click Me*~

I believe it to. Since I heard it was a $1,500 fine for just flicking a cig ash out your window.

Whew! Wife got lucky last summer in laguna when the cop just announced over his PA to her. *DO NOT ASH OUT YOUR WINDOW!!!!!* LMAO

  6. Where's That A S S H O L E With The Window In His Hood?

    LOL *looking @ fast4popper*

What has happened to the activity here? I see posts from the day before and they only have dropped down 3 or 4 slots :(

When I joined up a couple years ago there was lots more activity on the board.

Seems like since the recent updates to the forum it's even gotten worse. UGH!!!!

At least there is enough archives here to answer many questions ppl might have.

  7. I will post some pics soon......

Ohio law says 50% on front side windows

& whatever you want on back window

I put 35% on the side windows and

    20% on the back window...

I will take some pics and post them soon

Nice. I see you did basically what I did. They allow 35% I went 20%, Your allowed 50% you went 35%, Just crossing the line a lil LOL...

Virginia State Highway Patrol says mine is 11%

Damn you got pulled over for the windows? Are you allowed any tint in Virginia?

  8. They'll get it dialed in. Lot of work involved.

One other thing that everyone knows. "You can't please everyone".

Here's my current set up of the "New" forum.

It's working good but I guess we lost the PM folders. I haven't found them yet. Like the Received, Sent, etc..

Oh.. Just found the PM's or Messenger as it's called on here now. You have to go to where it says, "signed in as "user name", Hit the drop down arrow and select "Messenger".

  9. Check this out.

I updated my Opera browser today due to some issues with the new forum and when it was done installing I said to run the new browser. Well when it loaded lookie at what it displayed LOL

I must of had enough crap in my "Temp Files" for it to display this.... :)

    R.I.P.

  10. I don't know if it's just me or everyone. But the fonts and or everything seems to be much larger.

So what I ended up doing is setting my browser view size to 80 or 90% (Depending how good your eyes are) and it's much better for me.

Only problem if you do that change in IE all the pages you visit will be reduced to that where in Opera it only effects the page you set the view to :)

Just letting ppl know you can change that to in your browser setting.

  11. Crashes my Opera Browser. Page don't load at all before it crashes.

    It opens with IE

    Thanks for the update.

    I'll look into it.

    Thanks Josh.

Evidently this site didn't like my older version of OPERA. I updated it and all is well.

    Just an FYI

    Thanks again.

  12. Damn that sucks.

I got an aftermarket warrenty as well but I don't know the co. name without going out to the truck and looking at the paperwork but I know I didn't have the option your speaking of.

I'm planning on using mine here shortly though....

    - A/C will blow hot air on drivers side only at times but a stop and restart corrects it. (only did it twice on me last summer)

    - Butt warmer quit working at the end of this winter, the back still works but the bottom only stays on for a min then shuts off.

It's nothing real serious but I know it can add up in $

I hope you get your refund. Keep on them.
