Newest update!
Just picked up a complete subframe and reared out of a 2010 Camaro. So now were C6 corvette front and independent rear out of new SS Camaro.
Getting there!!

Nice!
You know I'm interested in your project because of mine. Looks like your making progress. Keep us updated.
Oh and you wanna borrow my LS376 and 6 speed Tremec
Which LS are you looking into?

How did you like the FlowPro? Wish they made them in stainless as its a corsa ripoff basically. I usually wont settle for imitations or 2nd to none products, but the FlowPro does sound decent and have a surgery coming up so might be a nice little subsitute till I can work again and get a full exhaust setup going.
How about the power? Feel any difference in power when you added the FloPro? Does the Magnaflow seem like you gained more and the FloPro restricted your truck?
Thank you in advanced sir.
The FloPro was great. I mean it did go 12.2 et, so it couldn't have been too restrictive. Truck must be close to 550 plus motor hp and it did great. I wanted a slightly louder exhaust to emphasize the new cam. Truck may in fact be a bit more responsive now with Magnaflow.
I have clips of both exhaust and will let you guys br the judge!

All very good points by the guys. Just remember, with 100 hp between your legs it seems to override your brain. be smart!!
Ive owned 8 R6's. they are all really great bikes. I would stay 03 or newer. These are all fuel injected. Not to mention, that Yamaha parts are probably the cheapest of all the manufacturers. And Ebay is flooded with parts if you knock it over.
feel free to pm me if you find a bike your interested in.

22 inch
Dual in/out
May go 3" in and out since muffler will accept it. Kinda surprised to find out it's 2 3/4 in and 2 1/2 out as far as my piping size.
I'll post a vid. Sounds good with the cam.
Oh! And I dropped the truck off today for a little exterior mod :-)

So I swapped out the FloPro for a "X" type Magnaflow. All stainless. Beautiful piece and great sound. No Drone and still opened up the sound. I'm impressed to say the least.

somebody pick this bike up stupid cheap. its going to a local dealership here in a few days. im offering it to you guys for $6200 let me know. you wont see a cheaper bike. this nice.
I'll think about it. Im going to sell my R6 Racebike at the end of the year. I think its time to race a big bike. It will match my 07 GSXR 750 quite nicely. And I live in Wa state. Maybe we can work something out.

For those of you following my 56 Belair project. Update: bought the LS376 crate motor and dropped it off today. Picked up the Tremec 6060 out of a new CTSV last month. I'll post up some pics of motor when it's set in the chassis. Stainless frame is 90% complete.
I figure at stock HP that 480 hp should push a 2800 pound car along nicely. But twin S/C or turbos will be even better

A glue puller is not the way to go about fixing a crease. they are usually used for dents not creases. Just find a GOOD PDR guy and get it fixed. A bodyshop guy with a glue gun may not be the answer. Glue pullers do not have the "preciseness" that can be done by hand.
Anyhow good luck and let us know how it goes.

I AM a PDR guy. Have been for 12 years. Yes absolutely a crease can be fixed. And it can look perfect if the guy is any good. Just please make sure he doesn't drill unnecessary holes. Should be able to get it thru the tail light unless it's toward the front of the bed. You might be looking at a bit more than a hundred bucks though.
Pm me if you have any questions.
Doug
Ps: get the screen name? I used to work for Dent Wizard years before my own biz.

"MPD"
My girlfriend named it. "Mexican Panty Dropper"
Because everytime I stop to get gas or anything there always seems to be somebody to ask me " eh man is that your Cheby?" ( insert Mexican accent here)
It is what it is!!!

Congratulations to Wizard for winning the May/June 2011 SilveradoSS.com Truck of the Month contest! PM Josh for information on collecting your prize.....
Thanks Fellas.
Its always nice to recognized by the people who know best. I appreciate it. I figure I had been nominated more than I want to admit without winning, so its really nice to get the win. June is my birthday month so what a great gift.
Ive really enjoyed this truck. Spent way too much money, and a ton of time but wouldn't trade it for anything. I still have a couple of things left to do. The hood is still off at Killer Paint with Mike Lavallee to do some wicked striping and airbrushing. I will post the pictures as soon as hes back from Europe to paint it. A little tuning to get it into the 11's. But for now I will just enjoy seeing my truck everyday in this section and gloat a bit more.
One last thing--- Who is Josh???

I bought a billet lit frame. Had it anodized black. Look at my garage photo.
Arrival Blue R6?

Posted
Why?
The Arrival blue isn't that different that Yamaha Blue. Now its going to look like every other R6 out there. Also anytime I see a repainted bike it makes me think 1 thing. Its been knocked over and repainted. Id sell the Orange stuff and buy some bodywork that needs paint and pocket the extra cash.
