cool, i party out in burbank too sometimes, gf lives in the valley (panarama city). I didnt here about the socal meet. Ill try to roll if you guys dont mind a tundra guy out there.

You see people pulled over on every block on a friday/saturday night. Oh and dont ever get a parking ticket there. It cost me 50 bucks, and i caught the meter maid (it was a dude to top it off lol) in the act and told him id move it. He was like "too late its in the computer".

Damn, must be nice to have a track at that elevation. Fontana sucks balls. Ive only been able to get one 1/4 mile run in since ive had this truck thanks to it being crowded. If he can hit a 14.3 with out a tune and more weight than me, i know i can be in the 13's. Hope next month isnt as crowded.

What's the track elevation at? Thats a damn good time for a double cab with such few mods.

Hey srt10kllr no podido hacerlo, truck problems! Sorry dude, ill get to it. Jason(socaliallstar) told me what had happened to the clip. But again my damn truck is down for now should be running by end of the week. Hopefully by Thursday to see if ill head to irwindale.
Ill try and make it, dunno if im gonna run though, tires are getting pretty beat up.

I had fun, too bad there were so many cars breaking down I would have loved to get 2 more runs in. It was cool meeting both of you. We need to hook up again another time.
For sure man, I had a good time too...lol all 6 hours to get one run. We'll have to meet up at irwindale some time. Im def going back to fontana in may. Hopefully with DR's by then.

So how did you do? I went and did a 14.2 with the street tires and a 13.9 with the DR's. I was not able to do any more runs as people kept breaking down and the track would close to clean up any oil spills.
I ran a 14.2 also with street tires. Even better was beating my dad in his 08 mustang GT. Kinda felt bad, it was his first time at the track in 30 years, so he was a little rusty. I think with some DR, ill be into the 13's too. Man it was crazy crowded, we went home right after. My Dad managed a 14.8 after forgeting to turn off his traction control and smoking his tires at the line. Jaime (Nekroman) got it on camera, hope he post it up soon. Here's my time:

as long as you leave the cats on, how would your chip or a tune affect smog? Trucks now a days are a lot cleaner and i think you would really have to go out of your way to make it fail a smog test. I think.
And i know i wasnt there, but im sure he didnt have a s/c.

I'd be piggy-backing a PCM onto that biatch LOLI got one. Thing is toyota kinda made sure that if you disable the speed limiter, abs and traction control go with it. There is a guy claiming to do custom reflashes and tcu upgrades, but you gotta send both you ecu and tcu to him. So far no ones tried him, but he claims he can do disable the speed limiter and only the speed limiter with just tuning.

So far no one has been able to take off the speed limit on our tundras. so if you go faster than 115mph you got em hands down. I would not recomend racing from a rolling 40 cause thats our sweet spot, unless your pretty modded. Not all TRD's are S/C, its more of a suspension package. More likely, the RCSB sport packages are sold w/ the S/C, but either way its an add on, and not really offered as an option on a new truck. The RCSB s/c run around 13 flat, double cabs mid 13's and crewmax's are high 13's, and MANY MANY of you are running faster than that, so a lot of you have nothing to worry about.
I believe the fastest tundra to date is running high to mid 12's on nitrous, he wont exactly say what else he has, he's worried it may get back to toyota and void his warranty.

Hey thanks for coming out last night jaime, sorry i didnt get more runs in. It was kinda late for me, and the lines were redicules. I know i could have done 1 or 2 tenths better with a couple more runs. Think someone on here had the "spinning aint winning" on their sig, and man aint that the truth.

Re-Read the thread buddy, there is no Lightning. It would have been a better race I bet if there was.
i Know this. Just kinda commenting how far ford has fallen in performance with these newer f150s. I mean they put out more hp/tq than a lightning yet could touch one to save their life. Thats all i was sayin or tryin to say.

lol nice kill on a high 14 sec truck. jk. but seriously, lightnings they are not. 450hp 500tq and still in the mid to high 14's. Guess its cause they weigh so much. How much are you S/C SS's putting out?
