Try searching without the H ... Its tecstar ( http://www.qtww.com/ )

There used to be a movie showing the SS being manufactured step by step ... it was pretty badass.
thanks
Found this little tidbit from 2008 off our sitethanks

My alarm went off last night. I bought an infared camera last week but it's still in the box. I'm going out now to lock my tailgait and bed cover. To lock the tailgait, you would replace the stock handle with a lockable one. The original spoiler is fiberglass and expensive to replace. I hope you find out who took your stuff and I hope they get what they deserve. I have in home security cameras with 24 hour recording. I'll have one aimed at my truck and I'll be cleaning the trash off my street.

Thanks big o. I still would like to learn more about the company. History lesson.

the SSS was built by an outside company (techstar) and the TBSS was built completely on the GM line.
I like both but they built way too many TBSS's so now I see mainly chicks driving them.
I know when I see an SSS that it's a fellow brother of mine
Any info on techstar or tech star - I couldn't find this when I googled it.

I named mine Maggie last year in hopes of getting a Magnacharger. I still haven't got it yet.

Has anyone noticed that in both vids the cars were outside of an auto shop???
Makes you wonder...
The guy in this video had a logo on his shirt too... he may have gotten fired...
A guy at Ziebart drained my battery because I beleive he was playing a c.d. while tinting my window. The manager said I had a bad battery. I still have the same battery. I hate being lied to. People with no respect shouldn't be allowed near our cars.

That is one of the many reasons GM and other mfgs. have been hitting rock bottom ---- the insulting ways of treating customers. And just think, the tax payers (customers) bailed them out so they could continue with that same old mindset. It's disgusting.

It would be nice to have both. But I'm the one that voted the Impala, for style and being an iconic car. But you have to pick yours. The Camaro would be faster and the 6 speed wouldn't limit performance.

Two suggestions, or three. Contact Jasper Engines in Jasper Indiana for an engine swap. Contact a local engine machine shop to bore block and turn crank and rebuild the heads. They will get you pistons, rings, cam, bearings, and seals. They will do tear down and assembly for added cost. Weigh out the cost of exchanging your motor or rebuilding. If you plan on keeping your truck for a while, it will be #'s matching if you keep the engine.

Just logged back in. I was looking up Kelly Performance and seen this. I seen a thread about someone spotting a white ss and, well, it looks white on my screen. Nice looking truck.

If Money Wasn'T An Object What Cars/Trucks Would You Get ...

My ss drives really good. I would surely miss it if I got something else. But money being no object, and buying American, a 67 Shelby GT 350 fastback in original black paint and white striping with the Shelby side scoops.
