Yeah.... they do that same kind of thing around here. It's not fun! Most cops appreciate the American cars, but occasionally they put you in their back seat of the ford I guess they don't like chevy power, i see alot of mopar and ford parked out front of the station

EDIT 1/5/10...... JUST GOT LAID OFF! NEED TO SELL!!!! So here it is! 2003 Silverado SS awd! The truck is mainly stock, just a little over 60K on her, always treated to the best fluids, mobile 1. Just recently had the transmission flushed and serviced. It's in great shape, I'm the second owner, I've owned it for just about two years now. I need to get something more piratical to drive (more than likely going to get a TBSS). Interior: Bone stock! Heated, memory, leather seats stearing wheel controls Bose system Digital climate control Dark tints. 1% rear windows, 5% front two windows, 40% on the windshield Exterior: Hella HID's stock silver wheels Great shape w/ a couple of tiny scuffs here and their Have two sets of taillights, tinted and non-tinted remote starter (great for those cold days) Has cab lights (not my style, original owner had them put on) they are currently tinted and unplugged, I have recon smoked LED cab light if wanted Rain guards on the front two windows Performance: Moto blue under drive pulley w/ OD alternator pulley, fresh belts (have stock too) Volant Cai w/ ram air duct Glasspacks welded in place of muffler Cats were removed and straight pipes clamped in, easily removed for cats to be put back Custom wheatley tuned pcm along w/ stock pcm I think that just about covers everything! hmmm... was pretty cool to watch

So i was cruising down the road in the truck last night about 12:00 am going down to check out whats going on down at the bars , about half way through my voyage I come upon a SRT8 Grand Cherokee with paper temp plates on it, looked to be completely stock and had a young driver around my age, it needed brakes thats for sure though, they squealed like hell coming to a stop at a light, I let him make the first move and he jumped to get to me to go, I let him go, i caught him at the next light, i staged up really low only at like a 1200 rpms and took the launch on him bad, he was on it, but didn't launch as far as i could tell, maybe caught about a full car on him and let he started to catch up... I hit the brakes at about 50 mph and he flew past. Now time for the second part of the story.... I started to slow down and next thing i know black and white flying up on my ass, passes me and get the SRT8, and then runs out into traffic on foot and grabs me . This officer has given me alot of shit before but never a ticket, just warnings and telling me to go home... I pull over, buckle up, put the windows down, keys on the dash, dome lights on and hand on the wheel. So i have the jeep behind me and then three more cop cars behind me. Jeep gets his ticket and i can see that the officer has assigned one his guys to follow him home... I got the death stare as he passed me, he was not happy (jeep guy). I get my ticket next, he was actually pretty nice and liked the truck and said he was surprised that i took him I laughed a little and said yeah me too. He told me to have a good night and cut the bullshit. Ended up with a $196 ticket, "unsafe movement 14-243(a)" for $103 and "no front plate 14-18a" for $93.... Wasn't anywhere near as bad as i thought it would be... thought i would definitely get one for tints... I have 5% on the front windows, 1% on the backs, and a 40% on the windshield.... and the exhuast too, gutted cats w/ glass packs Moral of the story, check your mirrors before you take off

Got a 03 black one here in CT, with 60K always mobile 1 in it!.... not too much done to it, glass pack mufflers, straight piped cats, underdrive pulley, volant w/ ram air, hids, 5% tints 40% on the windwheild and of course a wheatley tune and i have the stock computer too.. Also have black 22's with a polished lip for it, its sitting on the stockers right now.. Let me know!

My tune is still amazing me.... haven't been mashing the pedal to the floor lately, also getting a whole mpg more than my pcm4less tune! Great tune!!!! great guy to deal with also!

had it impounded twice, and towed twice, all the time on a flat bed..... and to think I've only owned it two years

i'm here in CT, I'd let mine go!, pretty much still stock... volant intake, gutted cats, glasspack mufflers, underdrive pulley... 60K on it well taken care of!

Don't know what it weighted but it was damn sketchy.... my street bike in the back, 94 suburban and four people in the truck... (I would do it again, but with trailer brakes)

but i need to quite down my truck... never thought i'd say it, but it's too much... Currently set up with manifolds, no cats, and glass packs welded in.... LOUD! More than likely looking to keep the stock exhaust set-up and weld in some muffler(s), Any suggestion to as what would quite it down the most and still give a decent rumble... also considering doing cut-outs Thanks, Neil
