I'm sure distance is a factor as well. I'm trying to ship from great falls mt to topeka ks. thats about 1300 miles.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to ship a set of wheels and tires to my brother. If my scale is correct my 22" reps with 305/40-22 nitto 420s weight 90lbs each (seems high to me?) UPS and Fedex both are quoting around $300 shipping them as 4 seperate peices. Would it be cheaper to throw them on a pallet and ship as freight? I dont have DHL in my area and they are to heavy to ship USPS I believe. Whats you guys experience with shipping wheels and tires? Thanks Gary

well if the paint is factory it is not an SS it's more than likely a V-max. same motor as the SS.

what mods do you have already?

i do believe you SOL brother. powder coating is baked on so its pretty dang hard. im almost positive you cant do any kind of finish correction without redoing the powder coating.

Did you scan with a tech 2? I scaned mine with an obd2 scanner and got no codes??

I assume it's just the compressor not the entire kit shown in the larger pic?

I have the same issue but have not had time to try anything you've tried. Hope you get it figured out

remember not just contractors use the trucks and suv's outside the wire.

sometimes the pigtails are different. you have to splice the new wires to your original wiring. ive ran into this with various brand of pumps and sending units.

glad to hear everything is working in your favor now. your exactly right, it could have been worse.

So the other day I got in the truck and the service air bag light comes on. Since I don't have much experience trouble shooting this system I checked to see if it was intergrated in with the ECM so it might throw a code. After showing no codes I've made an appt. with the dealership to see what the issues is. I hope there is a cheaper why to trouble shoot this system since everytime I go to the dealership I leave with a bill over $300!! Any thoughts or ideas before I take it in tomorrow morning?
