  1. I've been laughing so hard reading all these stories. So I guess I'll include mine. I was moving some stuff my wifes sister gave us out to her parents house. One of the items was a large wood coffee table. Not sure how exactly it happened other than it wasn't tied down, but the coffee table catches some wind coming over the roof. All I see is the coffee table slam into the highway as we are merging from one highway to another going about 70mph!!! I was told by my brother who was following that it went about 60ft in the air and came down and exploded into a few dozen pieces. He was about 4 or 5 cars back and said everyone was flying every where to not run over it. So as everyone else has said anything that goes into the bed gets a ratched strap or bungee cord holding it down!!
  2. that would have been a fun ride!!
  3. try these sites: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/searchTiresBySize.do?sw=false&cs=305&ar=50&rd=20 http://www.onlinetires.com/user/vehicle/tires/allbrands.html http://www.performanceplustire.com/products/tires/?searchType=searchBySize&sectionWidth=305&aspectRatio=50&rimDiameter=20&submit=Submit&manufacturerID%5B%5D=94&manufacturerID%5B%5D=108&manufacturerID%5B%5D=107&manufacturerID%5B%5D=28&manufacturerID%5B%5D=83&manufacturerID%5B%5D=18&manufacturerID%5B%5D=325&manufacturerID%5B%5D=48&manufacturerID%5B%5D=81&manufacturerID%5B%5D=19&manufacturerID%5B%5D=276&manufacturerID%5B%5D=27&manufacturerID%5B%5D=329 just a few of the other online tires websites. good luck hope this helps! gary
  4. looks good brian! last time i loaded mine in an enclosed trailer I quickly realized it wasn't going to be easy getting out of the truck!! how much street time did she get before you loaded her up?
  5. not digging the grill at all. the chrome door handles look like ass! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.m748&item=280677279494&viewitem=&_trkparms=clkid%3D76985185221706467
  6. looks great. how hard is the section on the drivers side to install?
  7. if your going to destroy the interior like that, atleast try to use a color that somewhat matches!!
  8. Now I realize I don't have anything to complain about compared to the cali boys or you diesel guys. but yesterday I put $82 it the truck while it still had a 1/4 tank. What's the most you guys have put in your trucks to fill up?
  9. 5 speed is cool but I think it would get old if it was his daily driver. If he plans to mod it any the 5 speed would be a good platform for a 6.0/6speed swap!!

  11. thats cool. now i know how she will look when i put them on this winter.
  12. does anyone know the difference between the r1concepts eline slotted rotors and their premium series slotted rotors? to me it looks like they coat the rotor hat and cooling vents and charge $80 more? just trying to figure out which ones to go with.
  13. just picked these up for $250 so atleast I'll have some rollers if I decide to replace the 22's
  14. thats pretty cool. they're pretty good, I watched some of their other videos too.
  15. well unfortunately tread depth isn't an issue, I still have probably 50% left. I did get the opportunity to test the nitto's in some snow. it was only and inch or two and the nitto's didn't do very well. I had a 2 hr drive on the highway and you could feel the front grabbing quite a bit pulling the truck from side to side. I really didn't feel safe at all. If I do go back to a 20" wheel I'll probably run the cooper discoverer ht plus. My brother worked for Big O Tire and said they were a really good tire.
  16. So hears the deal. I just got moved up to Great Falls, MT and the first thing I noticed is that the roads are not very smooth up hear Not so much pot holes but just uneven and rough surfaces. I currently have 22" replicas on with 305/40-22 Nitto 420's but they are starting to crack a little between the tread grooves and on the side wall. I also am going to need a better tire come this fall when it starts snowing again. With that being said I'm stuck as what to do. My brother has a set of 20" Budnik Fontana 6's that were polished but are beyond being able to bring the full shine back and I thought about grabbing them from him and powder coating them black and throwing on some 305/50-20 for a smoother ride and better options for all year weather tires. Or grabbing some stock SSS 20's black or chrome and the same 305's. My only concern is sticking with the chrome wheels and how they will fair through the winter months. I would prefer to only have one set of wheels and tires for the truck. What's your thoughts guys?
  17. unfortunately these D-Bags are from my home town and I've had to deal with them my entire life. At one piont they were protesting my high school!!!
  18. I didn't see any reason he was filming either??
  19. sounds like a good deal to me
  20. So all day I've been getting emails and watching the news. This Government Shut Down crap is starting to get serious. 22. every time i drive my wifes tahoe I realize i need to put HID's in it!!
  23. well after my $330 bill i found out it was a bundle of wires that some how got in the way of the e-brake as it comes back up. the wire got cut and grounded out blowing a 50amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Not as much as I was expecting to pay, but not cheap either. Thanks for the help guys. Gary
