I have obx's and could not be happier, they are a great header, especially for the price. The drawbacks are that the band clamps they come with are horrible. You will also have to buy some metal zipties to hold the plug wires away from the header, on the driver side back two plug's. Another option to look in to is the lpp's, I heard they work well and they are 3" collectors into a y pipe.

I dont know what they are talking about telling you the cluster is impossible to steal??????? It is one plug in the back of it and 4 screws to get it out, probably the easiest thing to get out of the truck. There is no speed cable to speak of, it is all coneccted to the harness that plugs into the cluster. GM dealers are only allowed to take the cluster out, they have to send it to a certified company(regulated by the federal government) to change the mileage or even change the stepper motors inside.

i would just save your money and buy a good buffer .

The bad thing about these trucks is(well good for con's), the only place mileage is stored is in the cluster. So if you change the cluster you can change the mileage with out anyone being the wiser. If your a wizard with a tech II, then you can check how many time's the cluster has been in and out.Does't help you much though, there are way's to explain away having the cluster out. On the tranny though, I have seen them go out with less miles than that, mine had 52,XXX and the trans pump broke, the 4l60/65 are the weakest point's on chevy trucks. It is the same lug pattern, I believe. The hub bore hole is different though. Correct me if I'm wrong.
