mmmmmm 408...sounds like a fun build will be waiting for that one! yeah it probably is just a small leak thats what mine was really tiny but it sounded like hell, and drove me nuts to the point of me taking the headers off and finding the small tear.

long tube headers, no cats leave your stock muffler and tip and just get two electric cut outs. if i had to do it all over again that what i would do lol

take a rubber hose and put one end to your ear and use the other to listen for a leak. check where the header meets the head. if you used the pacesetter gaskets i bet they are shot. gaskets should never be made out of paper. hope this helps thats what was wrong with mine ended up going with oem ones afterwards.

^^^^agreed my buddy mixed a whole can in the oil of his ls1 camaro and had no problems, def sounds like you had other issues prior to doing this.

what year was the intake off of? mine were bigger i think stock ss inj are 28 or something and the tbss ones are 36 or something sorry i'm not dead on i didn't pay attention when i did it, but they are bigger. i just spliced the wires with the new pigtails if you need pigatils i'll swap you i need the pigtails you have now.

good parts they left a lot of good things that poeple always ask for like interior, cladding, and badges. may not be worth as much as they are wanting but would be a good little fixer up
